Adaptive Riding and Horsemanship (Recreational Program) Nationally certified instructors teach horsemanship and riding skills while challenging participants physically, cognitively, and emotionally. Programs are suitable for ages 4 to seniors. Rehabilitative Therapy Programs Individually conducted by Physical, Occupational or Speech therapists. Programs take advantage of the horse’s dynamic movement and behaviors to achieve individual therapy goals. Suitable for ages 4 to seniors. Equine-Assisted Learning Participants, groups or families engage in hands-on learning that uses the horse as a partner in exploring positive development of communication, self-respect, confidence, trust, life-skills, accountability, and conflict resolution. This program category includes population specific programs such as Operation Unbridled (service men and women), Family H.E.R.D. (families), and foster youth, trauma and human trafficking survivors. ABOUT HORSES HELP OUR PROGRAMS

Horses Help is a PATH International Premier Accredited therapeutic and recreational agency that has been providing Equine-Assisted Learning and Activities since 1987. Participants range from 4 years old to seniors. Utilizing specially trained horses, Volunteers, PATH International Certified Instructors, Licensed Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, participants enjoy weekly sessions that enable them to learn horsemanship, riding skills, life skills -- all while building upon the horse and human relationship. The Barn Bash is Horses Help’s largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds underwrite program expenses for all participants, help pay for feed and hay for our horses, and directly impact special needs individuals, military and first responders, trauma survivors and at-risk youth in Arizona. It’s only through your generosity that we can continue doing what we do best, which is to serve the most deserving among us.

Donations will go towards the upkeep of the center and helping put a participant in a saddle. We automatically offset over 50% of the cost for these participants. All Horses Help clients are on partial scholarships and additional assistance is given for financial hardship, active or retired military and First Responders who qualify. HAY & FEED BARN BASH GOAL - $10,000 On average, our horses need 1-2 bags of premium feed ($25/bag) a month.

On average, it costs $3,000 a year to provide quality bedding and dental, veterinary, and hoof care to one herd member. In addition, there is also the cost of manpower hours to exer- cise, groom, and care for the herd. Consider sponsoring one of our beautiful herd members. Click here to meet them.
