TARGET AUDIENCE This event will be of interest to staff members who have responsibility for ensuring BES equipment is operable during cold weather. While the focus will be on generator preparedness, there will also be topics of interest to Reliability Coordinators, Balancing Operators, Transmission Operators, Generation Operators and Generating Plant personnel. OBJECTIVES To consider and explore the importance of documented cold weather plans for BES equipment from generators to control centers. Participants will explore best practices and lessons learned in protecting exposed equipment, documentation, implementation of plans, and personnel training.
