Since 1889, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber has proudly served as the voice of businesses in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The Chamber’s capacity to successfully engage in the political process is vital to achieving continued economic growth and a high quality of life in our region. In 2010, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber strengthened its ability to effectively engage state and local leaders with the creation of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber Political Action Committee (Greater OKC Chamber PAC). Since then, it has grown into one of the top political action committees in the state. During the 2019-2020 election cycle, we contributed $91,500 to 60 candidates on the state and local levels. The Chamber PAC achieved an 90 percent overall winning percentage in these races. The Greater OKC Chamber PAC was created because our ability to elect pro-business candidates is much stronger collectively than individually. The outcome of elections has direct consequences for our state’s economic policy and the bottom line of your business. It is imperative we work together to elect effective leaders who will support the Chamber’s Public Policy Agenda.
