Opelousas General Health System recognizes World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Awareness Month and dedicates each week in August to Breastfeeding Awareness among different cultures. Watch the video below for dates, themes, and logos of each week.

World Breastfeeding Week will focus on how breastfeeding contributes to the survival, health and wellbeing of all, and the imperative to protect breastfeeding worldwide.
