OTHER AREAS OF SUPPORT Guest speaker, Keith Hawkins, welcomes freshmen to the high school. Students get a chance to see the school before the first day and are paired with mentors from the junior and senior class. FRESHMAN ORIENTATION

EVENING OF EXCELLENCE GRANTS A beautiful evening celebrating the Top 25 graduating seniors. Students receive a commemorative plate and invite their parents and two teachers that have made an impact in their lives to a plated dinner event.

ACHIEVE 3000

Online reading software that helps raise the readers that are reading below grade level to a higher reading level. This helps puts students on a path to meet their career and college goals. Supply store run by the Work Study program from the high school. Teachers can place orders for supplies throughout the year via an online form. Orders are processed by students with special needs so they learn valuable working skills and then are delivered to school on Fridays.

ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS

MONTE CARLO NIGHT Come have fun with us at our charity casino event! The Broad Ripple Sertoma Club sets up craps, black jack, poker, roulette and more! The evening includes raffle prizes, food, music and fun! Definitely an event not too be missed!

ANNUAL BREAKFAST A wonderful time to network with so many local businesses that continuously support AEF throughout the year. Breakfast is served, AEF has a chance to update the community about what we've been up to the past year, and a guest speaker shares an inspirational message.

RICK MYERS MEMORIAL STARS & PARS Not your typical golf outing! Come play golf with us....IN THE DARK! At AEF'S annual Rick Myers Memorial Stars & Pars we play golf at night with light up golf balls. Prizes for best light up costumes and best decorated cart. Dinner is provided as well as a late night hot dog bar and there are plenty of raffle prizes to be won. Come have fun while supporting Avon students!
