Welcome Growers to the 2022 Dümmen Orange Poinsettia Catalog.
It is my pleasure to introduce to you our poinsettia offering. Throughout the catalog, you’ll see poinsettias that meet every grower and consumer desire. Dümmen Orange’s poinsettia roots run deep, and we have a long history offering grower-friendly superior genetics and original colors that create consumer appeal. The Dümmen Orange poinsettia program is a unique combination of two long-standing brands, Ecke and Red Fox. Those legacy programs’ strengths come together with a single brand you can trust to offer solutions and innovation to the floriculture industry. My poinsettia roots also run deep, and it’s challenging for me to pick favorites, but our 2022 offering includes some varieties I just have to mention. Highlights include Norwin Orange, whose namesake celebrates an industry icon, friend, and partner to the Ecke program. Norwin Orange is the brightest true orange available, and its early finish makes it a perfect choice for autumn sales. Green Envy stands out with its unique chartreuse bracts that pair well with our Fall Favorites or as a striking contrast to traditional reds. Frozen just cannot be beaten when it comes to pure white poinsettias, consumers will love its fresh look, and unlike many white poinsettias, Frozen offers production ease. Of course we cannot forget the traditional reds that make this a proper Christmas program. We’re always striving to breed superior, durable reds, and Imperial Red is precisely that. Imperial’s fiery red bracts stand out at retail with upscale appeal. Growers will like that it is fast to finish and can be grown at high density. The reduced bench time, paired with more plants on the bench, means more profits. These are just a few highlights in the complete portfolio, but we provide solutions for every grower from autumn to Christmas in unique forms and colors. This broad assortment leaves you with choices and encourages increased sales by giving the consumer interchangeable decorating options throughout the season. Starting with superior genetics is vital, but the support you receive along the way is also crucial.
