OUR BRANDS
Talalay Global offers a wide variety of features/formulations across a strong stable of brands. PROCESS
5 The batter is frozen to a temperature of -20 degrees. Freezing is also unique to the Talalay process which prevents particles from settling, ensuring a consistent cell structure. Step 1: Mix Combination of liquid latex, soaps and curing agents are mixed together in a temperature controlled, stainless steel tank to create a batter. Step 2: Pour The batter is transferred to the pressroom where it is whipped into a froth and injected into an aluminum pincore mold. The pins create the unique aerated cell structure of our latex. Step 3: Vacuum The mold is sealed and a vacuum is pulled filling the mold with liquid latex, vacuuming is only found with the Talalay process and allows for our distinctive feel. Step 4: Freeze
Step 5: Cure Once frozen, CO2 is added to the core to gel it into a solid state. The core is then heated to 220 degrees to cure the latex and lock in its superior cell structure. Step 6: Wash The latex mattress core is removed from the mold and placed on a conveyer belt that brings it through a five-stage fresh water rinse. Rinsing removes latex proteins, residual soaps and curing agents. The multi-stage washing process is also unique to Talalay latex. Step 7: Dry The mattress is then transported to a two-lane dryer, which completes the curing process and removes residual moisture. Step 8: Test Only the best pass the test! Once dry, every mattress undergoes a nine-point firmness consistency test and infrared technology scan to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards.

BENEFITS
INCREASED DURABILITY Buoyant support will not crush or flatten over time, unlike other fills and down feather. Sleep deeper and longer with durability, consistency and support. Talalay latex has 33% more pressure relief and is 3 times more durable than other foams. OEKO-TEX CLASS 1 CERTIFICATION Certified baby-safe with no harmful chemicals or off gassing, unlike petroleum-base foams such as memory foam. TEMPERATURE REGULATING Talalay latex sleeps more comfortably with temperature control that occurs naturally during the manufacturing process. The open cell structure of this unique material promotes breathability with 4 times more airflow. ANTI-ALLERGY, INHERENTLY MOLD & MITE RESISTENT Talalay latex is inherently mold resistant, dust mite resistant and naturally inhospitable to bed bugs and bacteria that can cause odors. ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY The Talalay process is sustainable and products are produced with biodegradable ingredients from renewable resources. MADE IN THE USA Designed and Manufactured in Shelton, CT., all products provide the best sleep experience in the world and our goal is to bring that superior performance to as many people as we can across the globe.

QUALITY & ASSURANCE
Only the best pass our standards. We run continuous testing including compression, impact and ILD tests to ensure support, durability and consistency. Compression (Hot Set) Test This test simulates the effect of body impressions on the latex after a person lies on the bed for extended periods of time. Latex mattress samples are compressed to 50% of their original thickness for 22 hours at 158°F. When removed, the percent loss in thickness is measured. The greater the loss thickness, the more likely the bed will take a body impression over time—which leaves you sleeping in a hole. The results below show Talalay’s superiority in resistance to body impressions.
Imported European Talalay Latex 5.7 (73% more than Talalay)
Talalay Global Latex
Dunlop Latex
11% (223% more than Talalay)

Impact Test Our impact test measures the ability to hold firmness and performance over time, this test ensures all of our latex is durable and will stand up to the test of time with superior durability.
Imported European Talalay Latex 16% (167% more loss)
Talalay Global Latex

18% (200% more loss)
Consistency Every mattress core produced gets tested by a 9-point firmness test that generates the Indentation Load Deflection (ILD) of the latex. This test ensures the most consistent feel of our products and provides our customers with quality and reliable support.
