NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY When you attend this event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction.

DEAR STUDENTS, FAMILIES, AND GUESTS, Welcome to Central Washington University! A new year has arrived, which means it’s time to start weighing your options for next school year. We know you have a lot to think about over the next few months, and we are here to help you make one of your most important decisions yet.

Finding the right college will go a long way toward shaping your future, and CWU is committed to doing whatever we can to help you make an informed choice.

Our goal for your visit is to make you feel at home. I encourage you to explore our campus facilities and ask plenty of questions so you can get a well-rounded view of what Central has to offer. I think you will quickly understand what makes CWU such a special place.

One way we set ourselves apart is a genuine focus on student success and engagement. CWU faculty and staff believe this is the measure of everything we do, and we never waver from this commitment. Diversity and equity are equally vital to our vision, and we are proud to welcome students from all over the world and from all walks of life. Together, their presence creates an open, inclusive atmosphere that is unmatched in our state. What inspires CWU faculty and staff every day is seeing our students grow and explore their unique talents and gifts. In the end, our mission is to create an exceptional college experience by providing remarkable instruction, exciting learning opportunities, and a fun, inviting culture for our students.

Sincerely,

Jim Wohlpart President

We are proud to have you join the CWU family. Winter Wildcat Preview Days is a great introduction to academic programs, campus resources, clubs and organizations, and much more. It is important to acknowledge that Central Washington University resides on the ancestral lands of the Yakama Nation. That knowledge calls us to commit to learning how we can be good stewards of this land and recognize how our actions contribute to larger systems. With gratitude, we honor the land and the original people, who stewarded it through the generations, and we give thanks to their legacy, their lives, and their descendants.
