By rail Tilbury Town station is a short walk from the cruise terminal linking to London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness. Parking Drop-off and pick-up is located immediately adjacent to the Cruise Terminal. Pre-booked parking spaces can be booked through Ambassador prior to your cruise. Porters are available to unload your luggage on arrival, which will be taken on board to your cabin. The car park is conveniently located just a short walk from the Cruise Terminal and a free shuttle bus will transport guests to and from the Terminal if required. London International Cruise Terminal Tilbury, Essex, Tilbury RM18 7NG
London International Cruise Terminal (Tilbury) is an architectural gateway to London. Located just 22 nautical miles down the river from Tower Bridge, it is the only cruise terminal in the south east that is on the River Thames. The cruise terminal itself is a large well-appointed historic Grade II* listed building and has a long history as a port for ocean-going liners. It is London’s only deep-water purpose-built cruise facility.
With 350m of floating quayside, a guest reception and a grand hall, the terminal has been able to serve all larger vessels, offering
worldwide services. Disabled Access
The London Cruise Terminal is a single storey building occupying a level site and is suitable for disabled guests, including wheelchair users. The car park is suitable for disabled guests. For any special requirements, please contact us directly. Refreshments The refreshment kiosk located inside the Cruise Terminal lounge sells hot and cold drinks and snacks to all guests. Guest Lounge Guests are welcome to wait to board in the guest lounge. Baggage Hall Returning guest’s luggage is unloaded from the ship, ready for collection in the Baggage Hall. Once you have identified your luggage, you will be directed to the exit via the Customs Hall to join your coach, taxi or private car. How to get there By car Located just 7 miles from the M25, linking to London and Kent.
The Prime Minister, Ramsay Macdonald, opened this unique facility back in 1930. Together with the adjacent railway station, this Grade II listed structure holds great historic significance, having served as the gateway for emigrants through P&O and the Orient Line to Australia and the Commonwealth. A significant early arrival in Tilbury was the SS Empire Windrush. It brought the first generation of migrant workers from the Caribbean to England in 1948, playing an integral part in the origins of multi-cultural Britain.

Tobermory, Isle of Mull The colourful houses of Tobermory are picture- perfect, resembling a contented child’s view of the world. You may even imagine you’re dreaming, but your eyes will open wide at the stunning surrounding scenery. St. Mary’s, Isles of Scilly The Scilly Isles are a subtropical paradise off the coast of Cornwall. Little more than six square miles, St Mary’s is the largest, with an atmosphere unlike anything you’ll experience on the mainland. St. Peter Port, Guernsey Quainter and more unspoilt than its near- neighbour St. Helier, St. Peter Port is part- Francophile fishing port, part-bustling capital – and a playground for the wealthy, who know a good thing when they see it.

Russia is a treasure-house of history, with its turbulent past affording a wealth of architectural and cultural treasures. Your two days in St. Petersburg will pass in a blur of ornate churches and cathedrals, opulent palaces that once housed Tsars and, of course, the magnificent Hermitage Museum. You’ll also savour the contrast with the more cosmopolitan Scandinavian nations as we navigate the Baltic, bringing you everything this diverse sea has to offer. Copenhagen Copenhagen is Scandinavia’s largest city but has a uniquely intimate quality. Cafés and restaurants spill out of brightly coloured townhouses in historic Nyhavn, whilst the atmospheric waterfront is a wonderful place to watch the world go by. Visby The Hanseatic city of Visby is fabled for its magnificent medieval architecture. Scandinavians love to holiday here, relishing its numerous historical sites including the two-mile- long town wall and numerous church ruins.

Two yellow-painted cranes nicknamed Samson and Goliath dominate Belfast’s cosmopolitan skyline. The state-of-the-art six-storey Titanic Museum also stands testament to the city’s shipbuilding heritage, but the atmosphere and infrastructure are thoroughly modern, indicating the city’s recent renaissance. Holyhead Holyhead can trace its ancestry back to 450AD. Its historic buildings include sixth-century St. Cybi’s Church, complete with Roman fort wall, whilst the town is surrounded by Neolithic sites and wonderful coastal walks with magnificent sea views. Seal on ice floe, Greenland
Experience the outer reaches of the Arctic Circle to the land of the Inuit and ice.
Prepare to leave the world you know behind for three weeks as you explore the magnificent Arctic landscapes of Iceland and Greenland. Your expectations will be confounded as you discover that Iceland is largely lush and green whilst Greenland is wreathed in ice, like some mythical land from a fantasy novel. Jagged mountains and awe-inspiring glaciers are interspersed with tiny rustic settlements on the world’s largest island, which is one of the most remote outposts of humanity – a place where man confronts the elements in an endless vista. the Red. It is also home to the Greenlandicum Arboretum, a nature reserve hosting more than 110 rare species of tree. Ilulissat Greenland’s third largest city is home to almost as many sled-dogs as people. It is one of the sunniest settlements in Greenland, and its stunning colourful houses have made it a popular destination. Nuuk Nuuk is unlike any other capital city – home to just 18,000 people and set opposite crystal- clear waters and snow-covered peaks. Its strong Inuit culture makes it unique, and it has been described as the most indigenous city in the world.
