Dear Guests

Contents Ambassador Experience Sailing from the UK Introducing Our Fares Group Holidays & Solo Travellers

AMB I E N C E

Twenty-five years ago, I joined my first cruise ship as a bar waiter where I instantly fell in love with the industry. Working through the ranks on board gave me first- hand experience of what guests expect and what excellent service truly looks like. Today, that same attitude from all those years ago guides me to deliver the most authentic, valuable and exciting experience for Ambassador Cruise Line. I am so proud of the community we have created; one which harmoniously unites travellers and crew members, where friendships are made for life. Travel is a force for good and for global understanding. It demonstrates that there is more that brings different nationalities together than sets them apart, which in the geopolitical

climate we find ourselves in today, is more important than ever. I am equally proud of launching a no-fly cruise line during a pandemic. It shows our belief and commitment in the cruise and travel industry, and our passion for bringing something new to the table whilst still harbouring beautiful maritime traditions. Entering the market at a pivotal time has defined our values and what is important to us and the world today. We pride ourselves on the knowledge that our ships can access the world’s best-kept secrets as environmentally friendly (and affordable) as possible. Our flagship of the fleet, Ambience is in the top 10%-15% of environmentally sustainable ships allowing her journey to some of Europe’s most untouched corners including the breath-taking Norwegian World Heritage fjords. Our efforts and renovations mean that we have reduced nitrogen oxide emissions by approximately 95% and reduced our sulphur oxide emissions by 80%. We have installed a new advanced wastewater treatment system, a new ballast water treatment system and new biodigesters, all of which ensure that we protect the seas we sail upon and the ocean wildlife around us. Above all, we like to believe that we are the warmest welcome at sea and that our values is what you, our guests, want and deserve. Our first lady of the sea, Ambience, has already welcomed friends for life and expanded our Ambassador community. Ambition is on her way and what an exciting chapter that will be. There are new lands that need exploring, hidden treasures that need discovering, and cultures that need greeting. Let us take you there on a ship that offers exceptional cuisine, outstanding service, and amazing entertainment. An environment that feels just like home, with a crew that feels like family. It would be our pleasure to welcome you on board so that we can go above and beyond your expectations.

Sailing from the UK

I N T ROD U C I N G OU R N EW P OR T S F OR 2 0 2 3 - 2 4 With Ambassador, no-fly cruising doesn’t mean you have to compromise on destination. For our upcoming 2023-24 season, we are offering an ample selection of sailings from the UK, including explorations of the Norwegian Fjords, adventures around the British Isles, getaways to the Canary Islands and, if you really want to do it all, an unbeatable range of world cruises. Thanks to our mid-sized cruise ships, you’ll be able to access both the hustle and bustle of large port cities and the laid-back atmosphere of smaller, more-secluded port destinations. In 2023-24 we will offer no-fly sailings from seven UK ports, including: • Dundee • Belfast • Liverpool • Bristol • Falmouth Looks like a cruise holiday is a lot closer to you than you think. • London Tilbury • Newcastle Tyne

Dundee

Newcastle Tyne

Belfast

We want cruising to be the cherry on top getaway that is home to memories that last a lifetime. It’s a place where people can become their best selves as they laugh with old friends and chat with new friends in our unique and friendly Ambassador community. Cruising, like any holiday, should feel easy. And what’s not always easy? Flying. As a no-fly cruise line, we take away all the stress that comes with flying. That means no busy airports, no transfer delays and no luggage constraints. With Ambassador, at no extra cost, each guest can bring unlimited cases along for the journey; you just need to store it all in your cabin. With well-connected transport links via rail and road and accessible car parks, reaching our various UK ports is a sea breeze. What’s more, checking in via My Ambassador Sailing online before you walk out the door means less to remember and a more seamless (and paper- free) boarding experience.

Our onboard currency is GBP£ sterling which means no exchange rates and no wasted currency sitting in your back pockets at the end of your trip. In terms of size, it matters to us. Our ships are mid-sized and are environmentally compliant with the latest industry standards, meaning they can reach certain ports and destinations that other cruise lines cannot. Did you know Ambience is in the top 10-15% of ships to sail to the Norwegian World Heritage Fjords? It’s important to us that our destination experiences showcase our world in all its natural beauty and that includes uncovering hidden and less-accessible gems. So why not experience the difference for yourself? As one of Britain’s newest cruise lines, we have a good impression to make. Be part of the new cruising era and see what all the fuss (and ease) is about.

Group Holidays

As the name of our flagship of the fleet suggests, creating the optimum ambience on board is something that is in our DNA. Our ongoing aim when designing our ships and voyages is to create environments that bring friends and guests even closer together, with opportunities to learn something new about ourselves, and each other. Through careful configuration, our ships offer both a feeling of spaciousness and freedom, whilst retaining that sense of intimacy and camaraderie we each crave - perfect for group excursions. So whether you’re a member of a club, society, business, or even an extended group of family or friends of at least 15 adults celebrating a special occasion, we believe that we can make your group holiday experience one to remember. To help you make up your mind, here's our unbeatable selection of group benefits:

Great deals for groups • Special 5% group discount off Standard Fares and Ambassador Fares on selected sailings (only applicable to full paying adults) • Book just 25 adult passengers and we will offer you one additional free place (26th place) and two additional free places if you book 50 adult passengers (51st and 52nd places) • Special onboard Welcome Cocktail Party • Preferential group dining arrangement These group benefits are in addition to any saving offered and will be confirmed at the time of booking. However, they remain subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice at any time.

Solo Travellers

Extras not included Travel insurance; travel joining costs to the port of embarkation; optional destination experiences; port parking; onboard spending of a personal nature i.e. drinks, gifts, shopping, laundry, communications etc; any visa and health certificate or testing charges that may apply; and crew gratuities and services charges that will be automatically billed to your onboard account. Gratuities We operate an automatic system whereby an amount of £6.00 per person per night (this amount reduces to £5.00 per person per night for cruises of 16 nights or more in duration) is automatically added to your onboard account. This also includes all service charges for drinks. All monies are collated so a portion goes to each crew member who helps to make your cruise special. This is not only distributed to your cabin steward and your waiter or bar attendant, it is also distributed between the hidden stars behind the scenes, such as laundry operatives and kitchen staff who you might never get to meet in person.

We recognise the need to offer attractive deals for solo cruisers, which is why we have set aside cabins dedicated to single travellers. For those sailing alone for six nights or more, we offer a special programme of events, including a Welcome Cocktail Party that’s not to be missed! Meet like-minded travellers and crew, and form friendships of a lifetime within the Ambassador community. So, whether you’re craving alone time or are looking to form brand new circles, we offer a safe and open-minded environment to make you feel comfortable, welcome and relaxed. As part of our commitment to single guests, we have allocated 89 single occupancy cabins at a special single supplement ~ against the equivalent twin fare based on five selected single cabin categories. For sailings of six nights or more, there is also a Welcome Cocktail Party.
