Andrew Craig NO MOUNTA I N H I GH ENOUGH
Andrew Craig "The mountains are what I love to paint ... they capture a state of solitude, calmness and harmony" Andrew has had a career as an artist that spans thirty-two years, inspired by, amongst other things, the theatre and the healing power of nature he has been able to capture the equally frightening yet magical towering mountains in all of their dramatic beauty. With an almost movie-like quality, these oils on canvas would add both calm and drama to any home. Andrew also enjoys teaching to fund his artistic endeavours, he says "When I teach art, my aim is to set each individual free on their artistic journeys" and he seeks to do the same in his own artwork.
'...a huge Cliff, As if with voluntary power instinct,
Uprear’d its head. I struck, and struck again And, growing still in stature, the huge Cliff Rose up between me and the stars, and still, With measur’d motion, like a living thing, Strode after me.'
- William Wordsworth, The prelude
