The Articolo Outdoor collection embodies the design intention of our established collections through simplicity of form, materiality and an enduring aesthetic appeal, while being re-engineered to withstand outdoor environments. The inherently sculptural forms and defining hallmarks of Articolo transcend seamlessly from indoor to outdoor spaces, creating atmospheric enhancement within organic and built exteriors, with subtlety, scale and sublime artisanal craftsmanship. The launch includes six re-engineered established collections — Moni, Lumi, Eclipse, Slim, Float and all the signature Ball Wall Sconce designs, as well as the addition of Occhi. Envisioning the new outdoor collections in context, Articolo engaged with renowned Melbourne-based architect Adam Kane, who shares a cohesive minimalist aesthetic with Articolo. In successfully realising each project, Kane believes the integration of a holistic approach is critical to ensuring a considered coherence between the architecture, interiors, and landscape. “The Articolo design intention is perfectly manifested in Adam’s spaces,” says Nicci Green, Articolo founder and creative director. “It’s a great canvas to showcase Articolo lights.”

ECLIPSE Eclipse unites slender, mouthblown glass with a uniquely crafted metal shelf detail. Inspired by design language of earlier decades, Eclipse resonates with a timeless contemporary clarity.

SLIM Slim reinterprets mid-century modernism in its architectural form and refined simplicity. The arresting restraint of its elongated arch of mouth blown glass houses the light source and is framed in hand finished metalwork.

FLOAT Defined by its soaring cylindrical form, Float evokes an inherent sense of refinement through its glamorous design cues of a bygone era, offering a graceful ‘floating’ presence.

LUMI Articolo was established with Lumi as its first collection. Cocooned one inside the other in perfect symmetry, Lumi’s organic forms reimagine a traditional coachman’s light to reflect a timeless and refined elegance with a simplicity of form, creating a sublime effect.

OCCHI Occhi offers a bold contrast through its circular and linear forms, evoking a natural curiosity with its presence. Restrained by a cylindrical metal casing, a solid cast glass disc is defined by its raised striking linear strip detail, while its gently tumbled face offers subtly-nuanced light refraction.

BALL The beauty of Ball manifests through its simplicity. Distinctive, artisanal hand-blown glass orbs coloured in a muted palette, and any of the signature Ball Wall Sconce designs, offer an immersive, sensory mood.
