Position: Banquet Setup

The Wilmington Country Club is looking for a self-directed team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to work in our banquet setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Sets up and breaks down banquet rooms per guest specifications including setting tables with linens and tableware, skirting tables, and other items as needed. • Accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests. • Fold napkins as needed for banquet events and holidays. • Review linen inventory and place bi-weekly linen orders based on upcoming events. • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas. • Communicate any areas of need, problems, concerns from member to manager. • Work with team to transport any and all items needed for an outdoor events. • Other duties as assigned.

• Embody the Wilmington Way Tenets of Excellence. • Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. • Enjoy being on their feet. • Be available weekends and holidays, as part of their regular schedule. • Have a demonstrated work ethic. • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
