The Adhesthetics Theca kit is comprised of four unique instruments designed by Dr. Federico Ferraris in collaboration with Hu-Friedy. It is an independent set of instruments conceived to cover the main variety of clinical phases in direct and indirect restorative dentistry in order to help clinicians to achieve predictable results and clinical excellence. The Main Shaper, the Fine Shaper, the 3D Shaper and the Direct Caliper are all made with XTS technology, a dark Aluminum Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) coating that offers superb contrast in comparison to composite materials and tooth structure. The coating is also incredibly slick, resisting the adhesion of sticky composite materials. The Hu-Friedy 3SSENTIAL KIT by Werestore.it is a straightforward restorative kit, with just 3 essential instruments at once: Anterior, Posterior and Spatula, from the Hu-Friedy Black Line Collection. The three instruments are synergic and interchangeable and the word “Essential” refers to the easiness of all restorative procedures focused on the essential steps to create high esthetic composite restorations while using this kit. The revolutionary concept of “Plug&Sculpt” of the Posterior is very simple: one tip is used to plug the composite into the cavity and the other one can sculpt composite in additive and subtractive modelling techniques. The Anterior, instead, is called by the doctors “solid brush” since it models and spreads the composite very easily, just like a brush.

Calibra™ Composite Instrument consists of two terminals: “IN” which defines the dentinal skeleton. “OUT” which allows to verify the thickness and shape of the last layer without excess. This instrument is a caliper to check the thickness (a practical alternative to the sagittal silicone index) and a modelling tool for the last layer.

CALIBRA ™ COMPOSITE INSTRUMENT

FOR CALIBRATED RESTORATIONS Calibra™ Composite Instrument is an XTS (AlTiN) coated composite instrument which helps to provide the proper anatomical curvature to the dentin material layer of a restoration and leaves the ideal space for the final layer of enamel material * . The Calibra™ Composite Instrument “IN” point is used to define the dentinal skeleton, while the Calibra™ Composite Instrument “OUT” point helps to reduce the chances of excess composite material being placed during the final layer of the restoration. Calibra™ Composite Instrument acts as a guide , helping to prevent over-contouring at the preparation margin while assisting in reducing excess composite thickness build up as well as modeling the final layer of composite material.
