Dear Globus Team,

Before we go any further, I would like to address an issue that is very important to BuDhaGirl in reference to our partners and collaborations.

BuDhaGirl is a ten-year old brand now, that from the very beginning, its DNA was instilled in wellness. We decided that we wanted to create a brand that brought more than fashion to the table. We also decided to make it a luxury brand, at first, purely direct to consumer through our website, then commanding a targeted distribution through our retailers. A few years ago, due to the popularity of BuDhaGirl, we began to be imitated; not only in the product itself but in our messaging. This past month I was in London, Geneva & Paris and encountered many “fakes”. Stores claiming that the product is blessed by Tibetan monks, claimed that it is made in Bali, and some claimed the product was made in Paris. All Weather Bangles® are a registered mark for BuDhaGirl both in the United States and in the EU. Our manufacturing is in Thailand, for ten years now we have had the same partners and are proud to say that they are thriving and growing, now boasting formal headquarters in Bangkok. We have strict standards for our product and high standards for the quality of life of our workers. AWB® are independently tested yearly in the US for toxicity and mechanical hazards, as we have a children’s collection. BuDhaGirl cannot stop competition, however what we can do, and do every day is deliver a beautiful message of wellbeing to our clients. We do so respectfully, without any false claims. Our rituals have been developed with the aid of contemplative practice masters and scientists. We do not claim the product to be charmed or magical or blessed. Our goal is to help people lead more joyful lives by guiding them to create moments of self-reflection, guiding them to set intentions and to linger in the power of gratitude.

We are interested in expanding our presence worldwide, however we will only do so by carefully choosing the appropriate retail partners.
