7 key steps for a perfect Cedral Terrace.

P L AN Plan a layout for your decking before star ting it to ensure the best installation for your project. We recommend drawing a site plan of the proposed area for material ordering purposes and to minimise errors. We would recommend consulting Local Building Codes or Regula- tions prior to star ting the decking to make sure permis- sions or other requirements are cleared.

Sägen müssen über eine Staubabsaugung verfügen. Für Anpassarbeiten eignet sich eine Stichsäge mit har tmetallbestückten Säge- blättern z.B. BoschT 141 HM. Den Faserzementstaub mit einemMicrofasertuch entfernen. L AG E RUNG Cedral Terrasse dielen sind auf einer ebenen Unterlage trocken und vollflächig zu lagern. Das Material ist bauseitig mit einer Bauplane gegen Feuchtigkeit zu schützen. Stehende Feuchtigkeit kann zu Kalkausblühungen führen. P L ANUNG Erstellen Sie vor Beginn einen Plan für Ihre Ter- rasse, um die bestmögliche Ausführung Ihres Projekts zu gewährleisten. Wir emp- fehlen, für die Materialbes- tellung und um Fehler zu minimieren einen Lageplan für die in Frage kommende Fläche anzufer tigen. Vor Beginn der Verlegung ist es ratsam, die ör tlichen Bau- vorschriften einzusehen, um sicherzustellen, dass Gene- hmigungen oder sonstige Erfordernisse geklär t sind. 1% T R AG FÄH I G E R UNT E RG RUND Der Untergrund muss tragfähig sein, da davon der Erfolg Ihres Projekts abhängt. Die Unterkonstruktion muss auf einem ebenen Untergrund wie beispielsweise Beton oder Punktfundamente, nicht auf Gras, unebenem Pflaster oder Sand verlegt werden.Wenden Sie sich gegebenenfalls an einen Statiker oder Fachplaner, um die Anforderungen für IhreTerrasse zu erhalten.

S TOC K AG E Les lames Cedral Terrace doivent être stockées à plat à l’intérieur, sur une palette, dans un endroit sec et ventilé. Empilez les palettes de façon à ce que les lames soient ventilées. P L AN Dessinez un plan de votre terrasse avant de commenc- er pour assurer la meilleure installation possible. Nous vous recommandons de dessiner un plan de la zone proposée afin de pouvoir dis- poser le matériel et de réduire les erreurs au minimum. Nous préconisons également de consulter les règlements d’urbanisme locaux avant de commencer à poser la ter- rasse pour avoir l’assurance que vous disposez des permis nécessaires et répondant à toutes les exigences.

S U B F R AM E The joists of the subframe must be fixed at maximum 300mm centres and should be securely fixed to the substrate. Ensure that all joists are of good quality and if necessary preser vative treated and foresee a 1% slope for water drainage. Stating substrate must be min 50mm width

1% It is advised to use the correct tools for cutting and drilling the Cedral Terrace planks. For cutting one can use either a j igsaw with a blade for fibrecement (e.g. BOSCH T 141 HM) or a Circular hand saw with diamond tipped blade. BOSCH T 141 HM) of een ronde handzaag met diamantzaagblad. De terras- planken bevestig je met speciale cl ipsen om de instal latie gemakkel i jker en sneller te laten verlopen.

P L AAT S I NG VAN D E P L ANK E N Begin de terrasplanken aan één kant te plaatsen, meestal wordt er vanaf het gebouw gestar t. Gebruik daarbij de clips om ze aan de draagbalken te bevestigen. Herhaal dit tot het terras volledig geplaatst is.

Nous vous recommandons d’utiliser les bons outils pour scier et forer dans les planches Cedral Terrace. Pour scier, vous pouvez utiliser soit une scie sauteuse à lame pour fibres- ciment (p. ex. BOSCH T 141 HM), soit une scie circulaire à main à lame diamantée. Pour la fixation, des clips adaptés au profil de la lame sont disponibles. Votre revendeur vous aidera à obtenir ce matériel.

Substrate must be stable as it will define the success of your end result. Joists must be laid on a solid flat surface such as concrete and must not be laid directly on grass, uneven paving slabs or sand. On the substrate , the joists can then be laid. Consult a structural engineer for design specifications for an appropriate sub floor for the decking.

Le support doit être stable, car il conditionnera la réussite de votre installation. Les solives doivent être posées sur une surface plane et solide, comme du béton. Elles ne peuvent pas être posées directement sur un gazon, des pavés inégaux ou du sable. Les solives peuvent ensuite être posées sur le suppor t. Consultez un ingénieur en stabilité pour les spécifications de conception afin d’obtenir un support ad hoc pour la terrasse.

Cedral Terrace kan niet rechtstreeks op de grond gelegd worden. De terrasplanken worden bevestigd op dwarsbalken bovenop een stabiele ondergrond.
