Can I first take this opportunity to thank all those who participated in the 2021 CIPP Benchmarking Survey, the feedback received and involvement from the payroll community has been invaluable in creating this report.

The impact of the coronavirus pandemic has touched every element of life, and the lives of payroll professionals are no exception. Taking time out to complete this, whilst juggling business as usual tasks, as well as implementing new schemes and getting to grips with changes to legislation shows the commitment of the payroll profession in developing and improving the services they provide.
