Head of Construction | Candidate Information Pack
Devine Homes
is part of the Devine Homes Holdings Group, a well-funded, privately owned group of companies, which focus on development, construction and
property investment.
Devine Homes Plc is the Group’s house building company.
Historically the Company has not acquired sites with planning permission but has identified its own opportunities to take through the planning process.
There have been two strands to this, current land assembly opportunities for immediate development, together with a significant long term investment in strategic land, which is now coming to fruition. This has positioned the Company well to expand its development programme significantly. The Company is therefore seeking to appoint a “Head of Construction”, to take overall responsibility for all aspects of the construction operation for this development programme.
Celebrating over 25 years of building fine homes, with innovative design and construction experience to its credit, Devine Homes Plc prides itself on producing a premium product in primary locations in Surrey, West Sussex, West Kent, Hampshire and the Southern London Boroughs. The Company builds approximately 50 – 100 new homes annually, ranging from bespoke luxury homes, which demand the highest level of specification, to family homes and superior collections of apartments. But whatever the price tag, every purchaser can be assured of a high quality, individual property, in additions to a pre-and post-sale customer care service that puts Devine Homes Plc in a league of their own. About Us
Whilst what materialises as a finished product is an important test for any housebuilder, prospective purchasers should be heartened to learn that Devine Homes Plc places great emphasis on ensuring that its property designs are sensitive to their area – and yet still have that kerb-appeal for which we all yearn. Our Standards
The internal specifications are modern and easy, but don’t lose sight of the traditional qualities which are so important.
As far as the Company’s approach to land buying is concerned; Devine Homes Plc has a very straight forward commitment, which is first and foremost to search for Brownfield sites and parcels of land in areas where a collection of outstanding new homes will add value and enhance the area. The Company’s fine reputation for delivering superior quality, design and service, in a highly competitive market place, means that it is also held in high esteem by other property professionals and suppliers and quite simply puts it still further ahead of the competition. Our Approach
From its Reigate Head Office, Devine Homes Plc spearheads its housebuilding operation with a drive and passion for diversity, imagination and vibrancy.
Land Acquisition
A Devine Homes property gives every purchaser the opportunity to experience the very best in modern design, technology and energy efficiency, without losing sight of,
or compromising any of the traditional elements that turn properties into homes.
Irrespective of the size of the property, the Company includes a specification that will challenge even the most demanding imagination.
Taking into account the style of the property and its location, each home is designed to provide creative living space, with superior design and layout being at the heart, to create flexible internal layouts and functional areas for an all-round lifestyle enhancing experience.
Strategically managing a campaign to acquire land that rejuvenates suburban areas and enhances local communities, Devine Homes Plc aims to create vibrant, interesting and attractive places in which to live and work, which evolve through clever and bold architecture at their core. Land Acquisition
As a medium sized housebuilder, the Company is interested in both Brown and Greenfield sites (that are promoted through the LDF process) to develop for new homes.
In recent times Devine Homes Plc has demonstrated its exceptional ability to resolve complicated planning and technical issues and because of its in-house Land Managers and Planners has been the front runner on some of the most interesting and complex land acquisitions in recent times.
