In July Boeing banned Pokemon Go from all company-owned devices and sent an email to staff after one employee came close to hurting themselves while playing. The Royal Stoke University Hospital had to ban players from their A&E department after players found it was a key hub for creatures in the game.

MINIMUM WAGE OFFENDERS ON ‘NAME AND SHAME’ LIST

Nearly 200 employers that failed to pay their workers the national minimum wage (NMW) have been publicly named in the largest list of its kind to be published. Announcing the ‘name and shame’ register, business minister Margot James said the government would continue to crack down on those who ignored the law.

NEED TO KNOW: WHEN JURY SERVICE CALLS

Alison, a senior member of staff, is summoned for jury service.“No problem,” you might say, if other staff can pick up her duties. But the consequences can be severe if you own a small agency with a few employees. Alison is legally required to report for jury service, otherwise she can be fined up to £1,000.

Should you refuse to let Alison serve, you cannot take disciplinary action against her for disobeying you, otherwise she can take you to tribunal.
