BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE CARBON NEUTRAL BY 2025
Errigal will be carbon neutral by 2025. This is something that we are striving for as a company and as individuals. We are all individually responsible for looking after our planet making it a cleaner and safer environment for future generations.
What is carbon neutrality?
Companies, processes and products become carbon neutral when they calculate their carbon emissions and compensate for what they have produced via carbon offsetting projects. Offsetting carbon emissions, in addition to avoidance and reduction, is an important step in holistic climate action. This can be done by means of forest conservation, afforestation or renewable energy expansion.
As a comapny we make a conscious effort to work with supply chain partners that share our environmental aims and are close to our sites to limit transport associated emissions.
We will continue to work with experts to help us in our goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2025 and look forward to announcing several new initiatives over the coming year.
Our number one priority will always be the safety of all staff and all who work with us. Errigal achieve the highest levels of health and safety performance and always strive to improve. We are highly committed to a goal of zero harm and we achieve this by identifying the hazards and risks involved with jobs and activities. HEALTH AND SAFETY UPDATE

BATTLING COMPLACENCY We recognise that complacency is one of the most serious hazards that faces our workforce on a daily basis. Our team are continuously working on ways to battle complacency on site to ensure that operatives stay focused and maintain high standards of safety at all times. One such way was through onsite safety and wellbeing workshops and demonstrations, followed by inhouse testing and presentations delivered by our H&S teamand supply chain.
