What’s in store for the future of the auto industry? One said, “Going electric is not just an eco-friendly goal, an ambition that would help fight climate change. It’s a business reality, according to industry analysts.” Nevertheless, the timeline for the transition to electric cars continues to be a point of contention among analysts. Global predicts electric vehicles will outsell conventional ones by 2030. Another prediction says, “combustion engines really aren’t going anywhere for quite some time.” Ultimately, much of the argument hovers around the point at which electric cars can effectively compete, on price, with the internal combustion engine.
TREND FOR FUTURE EV CARS
CO2 FREE SMART EV CHARGING STATION To prepare for the increase in EV car number in Malaysia in the future, ElQuator has lined up the infrastructure planning. In terms of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, electric vehicles are often cleaner than even the most efficient conventional vehicles. When battery electric vehicles are powered by the cleanest electricity grids, greenhouse gas emissions from them are comparable to a car getting over 100 miles per gallon. When charged exclusively with Renewable Energy with our system, charging and operating an electric vehicles can be nearly emission free. To be part of Malaysia’s commitment to Paris Agreement 2015, ElQuator aimed to provide electric vehicle’s charging station that powered by Green and Renewable Energy to Malaysian electric vehicle owner. With the infrastructure well planned and provided for Malaysian, charging the car with electricity powered by our Renewable Energy system will make them save more as well as keeping the environment safe from pollution.
HOW SMART EV CHARGER WORKS
ElQuator Smart EV Charger can charge faster than any conventional EV charger in the market today. Thanks to the technology we developed here in Malaysia. By incorporating supercapacitor in our system, our Smart EV Charger can charge up to 0-60% in just 1:13s and up to 80% maximum with an additional 30 second. This is the advantage for all EV cars below 38kW. Producing cost is only RM0.08 per kilowatt.
HOW SMART EV CHARGER WORKS
No cash transaction involves as all are done by cashless and paperless and it is a credit transaction. The receipt will then sent to the customer via a notification email after each charging session Customer will receive their monthly statement showing their transaction for every 30 days. Outstanding amount must be settled within eight days from the statement date to avoid interruption.
The charger will stop charging after it reaching 80% charged. Return the nozzle to its place
Charging time will be 1:13s from 0- 60 % and additional 0:30s up 80%.
Lift up the nozzle to charge. The nozzle will read the individual bar code for each car. Attach the adapter and plug-in into the car's battery port to start charging.
An application in the customer's smartphone will show all the transaction histories and amount charged to their account
CHARGING TRANSACTION • Selling price is RM0.80 per kilowatt and will approximately cost RM42.00 per car per charge. It is way cheaper comparing to petrol price that fluctuates every year.
• All customers will be given 30 + 8 days every month to settle their bills.
• Their account will suspend if they failed to make payment within the time given. If they reach the charging station, the nozzle will not recognize their barcode until the account reactivated after the successful payment.
PRODUCTION COST • Cost to produce is RM0.08 per kilowatt. No additional charges to produce power as all are from Renewable Energy. • For each station, the cost for set-up is RM72,000.00 per station with 2-4 bay charging area ElQuator plans to build one or two stations in every municipal nationwide to provide infrastructure to the increasing numbers of electric vehicle in Malaysia. The plan is for all local authorities to provide 5m x 8m square of space for each per station. There is a total of 149 municipals in Malaysia. Every charging station have two bays that can provide a charging session for two vehicles at one time. By providing the charging station nationwide, the more electric car can be sold and traveling everywhere around the country is not a problem anymore. FUTURE PLANNING

Solar will not be able to provide green and clean energy around the clock for the car as it is not functioning during the bleak weather, rain or at night Some charging point is not an independent station and only one charging port available to use
