Christmas It’s happening folks, on or around December 25th Santa will be dropping down chimneys enjoying a mince pie in every house and maybe even a glass of something ‘warming’. Our Christmas Collection is proving more popular than ever this year, whatever size of workplace you have, we deliver and install every tree and decoration you’ll need, then when it’s all over we come back and take it all down again. No fuss, no mess, no searching for Blu-Tack, just Christmas all wrapped up for you to enjoy. This year we have expanded our service by adding a range designed for hotels, nursing homes and owners of holiday cottages. There is now also a demand for our Christmas services at home… we can help there too so get in touch if you would like us to bring some sparkle to your home. Do call for details!

Home Collection Do you have employees WFH? It’s important to remember that the H is for Home and while creating an atmosphere that’s conducive to work is one thing (we’ve written a blog), a responsible employer should never forget that a home is where people live, relax, laugh and love… H is also for Hint… Have you considered offering plants as a Christmas gift to your employees? Our HomeOfficeCollection offers great ideas for separating work space from living space, and we think plants make ideal Christmas gifts that will surely make your colleagues feel appreciated. We can deliver to your offices in plenty of time for you to distribute ahead of Christmas.

COVID Compliance As more and more workplaces open up, we have of course created a responsible programme for maintenance, installation and sales visits. Every teammember is fully equipped with comfortable PPE and we co-ordinate visits to fit-in with our client’s requirements and quieter times.

Did you know Green Team Interiors offer a referral scheme? For every referral resulting in an order from a new customer, we will donate £50.00 to your choice of charity (or ours if you have no particular preference). So, if you are happy with our service, why not spread the word and support your charity at the same time?

Book Festival Every year we sponsor an event at The Guildford Book Festival, it’s really important to us that the enjoyment of books and reading is encouraged and celebrated. Sadly, Jonathon Porritt had to cancel his appearance but rather than pull our support, we transferred it to an evening with the really rather brilliant Richard Osman…and what an event it was!

20 for 20 in 20 The wonderful Kings Arms Youth Project in Petersfield were the latest charitable organisation to receive a plant display as part of our 20th ‘birthday’ celebrations. The project provides help and support for young people across the area and continues to offer after school and holiday ‘hangouts’ in a safe, supportive environment. KA also runs the East Hants Young Carers Programme, giving respite to young people who are caring for a relative and an opportunity to meet other young carers. As it happens, Kings Arms are also celebrating their 20th birthday this year! They have recently moved to new premises and are putting the finishing touches to the refurbishment works, so we felt it was very appropriate to support this local community project.

Awards

Think Oscars, think Grammy’s, think Nobel Prizes…think Plants@work awards. OK not quite as glamourous but every bit as important to us, and yes we won (we probably would not have mentioned the awards if we hadn’t). This year we scooped another gold award for our Plant Maintenance Service, and added a silver award to our collection for Design & Installation.

These are truly extraordinary times, the business of Green Team Interiors was set up on the principle of ‘A Better Way’, and it’s all about the idea of treating people with respect and understanding. We talk a lot about how plants help people with physical and emotional wellbeing. But people can do their bit too – please take care, tell that someone special that you love them and send your friends a virtual hug.
