SINCE 1933 LY NCHBU RG , VA – – Leather and travel have been our story for 87 years. We know from experience that the best leathers come from skilled hands and a keen imagination. The artisan tanners we work alongside are heirs to generations of expertise. We believe in preserving the details that give natural leather its beauty. Together with our timeless design and craftsmanship, every item in this catalogue will endure.

Our holiday catalog shoot took us to 12 Ridges Vineyard, located just off the Blue Ridge parkway in Vesuvius, Virginia. In 2010, Craig Colberg purchased the property with a vision to start a vineyard, creating sommelier-crafted sparkling wines in what is now the highest altitude vineyard in Virginia (3,300’ up). As you can see in the succeeding pages, it’s a breathtaking spot, a must stop the next time you’re driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Before 12 Ridges became a vineyard it was Skylark Farm, a tree farmwidely known for its Fraser Firs. Many Virginia families (including mine) would make an annual pilgrimage there to select and cut their holiday tree. In a year when gathering will be a challenge, we wanted to pay homage to small, important traditions like this one that can still bring us together. In the midst of such an unusual year, it was a gift to find not only a bit of normalcy up there but also camaraderie with our friends DJ and DeSha Best and their children; we’re grateful for their participation in the shoot and enjoyed spending the afternoon with them.
