Reporting to the Director of Estates Operations the Head of Property is responsible for leading the property and asset management of the College’s core estate and non-core (i.e. investment) portfolio, ensuring that the requirements of both the landlord and tenant are met. This will involve driving income and value across the notable estate portfolio by way of innovative and proactive asset management initiatives. The successful candidate will be a Chartered Surveyor with proven experience of leading estate surveying duties across a portfolio of significant scale and complexity, either in a client side or advisory capacity. You will have demonstrable expertise in landlord/tenant relationships with a proven track record of negotiating and working with professional consultants. The Head of Property will work closely with the Director of Estates Operations to identify strategic development opportunity throughout the College’s land and property interests. The Head of Property appointment offers the opportunity to be directly responsible for leading a high-profile property portfolio on behalf of a globally renowned higher education institution. Our multi-site portfolio includes our main estate in the historic South Kensington area and ranges from extensive medical teaching and research space with NHS partners across Central and West London through to a rural campus in Ascot and our new state-of-the- art campus in White City.
