Steve Keeton, Director of External Affairs and Future Portfolio at Vaillant Group UK, has been elected as the new chair of the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council, HHIC. Steve Keeton, HHIC Chair 2021.

Mark Mills, Wilo’s Northern Ireland Area Sales Manager, got on his bike to help his company team stack up 1,700 virtual miles in a charity cycle to raise funds for Maggie’s cancer support centres. Wilo colleagues embarked on a challenge to virtually cycle from Wilo UK HQ in Burton-Upon- Trent, Staffordshire to the new state-of-the-art Wilopark factory in Dortmund, Germany. Because of the current travel

and has since progressed to his current role of Director of External Affairs and Future Portfolio. Stewart Clements, Director, HHIC said, “Steve has worked within the industry for many years and has long been an active supporter of the HHIC. His work epitomises the longstanding commitment to high standards and future thinking, which we champion. “HHIC’s outgoing chair Andrew Keating, Group Service Director at BDR Thermea Group has been a pivotal part of HHIC during his tenure, working in many areas from business transformation, innovation to Government policy. “I want to thank both Andrew and Steve for their commitment and also for giving up their time to share their expertise.” ww.hhic.org.uk

restrictions put in place due to the pandemic, the Wilo team made up the total mileage ‘virtually’ on static exercise bikes set up at Wilo’s HQ and out and about individually on road bikes. Maggie’s is a charity providing free cancer support and information in centres across the UK and online. Lee Tebbatt, Managing Director of Wilo UK - a leading manufacturer of water pumps and pump systems - commented, “At Wilo, we’re not ones to shy away from a challenge so we thought an extremely ambitious cycle ride was a great way to raise those all-important funds, as well as getting the team together for a bit of fun as lockdown restrictions begin to ease.” All funds raised will go direct to Maggie’s, donate here: www.justgiving.com/ campaign/wilocycle2021 T: +44 (0)7794 337634 - E: [email protected] - www.wilo.com
