Superior Flexible Ductwork
JPL knows the value of a good reputation, and strives to provide service and quality of the highest level.
LETTER FROM THE LAMBORN FAMILY When John P. Lamborn Sr. embarked on this business’s journey, his focus was making our innovative product widely accessible to the construction industry. As a veteran HVAC distributor, he knew just what he and others in his world needed to get their jobs done. Years later, that approach has remained the same. Our team works as hard as possible to consistently offer the best flexible air ducts on the market. Our longevity and reputation reflect the innovative approach John started with, and we’re proud to say our product lives up to that reputation. Contractors can feel confident when using our air ducts, and distributors who partner with us can rest easy knowing they’re offering the best of the best. As a contractor or distributor, your business depends on the quality of products you use and we do not take that lightly. Not only are we family-owned and operated, we consider those we partner with to be family too. You can trust that you’re going to receive top-notch air ducts and outstanding service from JPL. From our products to our people, we’re confident you’ll love what we have to offer.
John Lamborn, Jason Lamborn, John P. “Jack” Lamborn Sr.
Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to working together.
All the best, The Lamborn Family

THE JPL DIFFERENCE
JPL was founded in Fresno, California. After decades of growth, the company’s dedication to quality, service, and innovation has set it apart and made it a respected name in the HVAC industry. The need for its innovative products has only grown. JPL currently operates four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in California, Colorado, Tennessee and Florida. JPL has worked hard to enhance its reputation for the last six decades, and believes that contractors should have total confidence in what they install. With that in mind, here’s the difference you can expect when choosing JPL.
Why Choose JPL?

OUR STORY Continually Growing and Innovating
say that it wasn’t the easiest of times to restart a business, with interest rates at 17%. It just made sense to us.” John and Jack were happy to be back to JPL’s original vision of manufacturing the flexible air duct on the west coast. The new JPL quickly became one of the largest producers of its kind in the region. John’s son Jason Lamborn joined the company in 1997, representing the third generation of the Lamborn family business. He started as the manager of the Denver plant, and is now the key decision-maker for JPL’s sales and operations. The company currently boasts four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in California, Colorado, Tennessee and Florida, and serves distributors in 45 states. JPL’s reputation is deeply rooted in its unparalleled quality, excellent service, and innovative products. Through hard work and innovation over the years, JPL has grown into what it is today. Most importantly, Jack Lamborn’s legacy still touches every aspect of the business, from the people he employed and mentored to the trailblazing products he believed in from the very beginning.
After seeing a need for the flexible air duct and its potential for growth in the HVAC industry, John P. “Jack” Lamborn Sr. established JPL in Fresno, California, in 1961. With the market for this revolutionary new concept of air distribution ever-growing, Jack soon established a second flex duct company in San Jose, California, called Norflex. The businesses continued to grow, and in the late 1960’s JPL and Norflex were combined to form General Environment Corporation (GEC). Along with the help of some key investors, Jack’s flexible air ducts were officially available on a national basis. Jack’s son John Lamborn joined the GEC team in 1970. With two generations behind these innovative products, GEC gained national recognition and was a market leader. After ten years of working and managing GEC, Jack and John left to re-establish JP Lamborn Co. (JPL) in 1980. “At the time, people thought we were crazy,” John Lamborn remembers. “Let’s just

PARTNERSHIPS AND INDUSTRY ORGANIZATIONS
10 REASONS To Become a JPL Distributor
We are proud to be a part of associations and service providers listed below.
1. Limited Distribution: You’ll be partnering with a flex air duct company that has not set up their distribution network by zip code. That means better service and a more hands-on approach. 2. Commercial Opportunities: JPL offers a full range of flexible air ducts that better position the wholesaler to solicit business from mechanical contractors. Acoustic, high pressure, antimicrobial, special lengths, non-insulated, thermal sleeves and three R-values make our commercial package attractive and complete.
ADC In 1988, JPL was a founding member of the ADC, a North American Flexible Duct Trade Association. John Lamborn served as ADC’s first President, and Jason Lamborn served as a Past President as well. UL Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global independent safety science company with more than a century of expertise innovating safety solutions since the public adoption of electricity, to new breakthroughs in sustainability, renewable energy and nanotechnology. Dedicated to promoting safe living and working environments, UL helps safeguard people, products and places in important ways and providing peace of mind. GREENGUARD GREENGUARD is an independent third party testing facility operated by UL that tests for Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions in various products. GREENGUARD requires routine monitoring and annual testing of JPL products to maintain certification. The testing performed by GREENGUARD ensures that JPL meets the stringent requirements for improved Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). HARDI JPL has been an associate member in good standing of HARDI (Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International) dating back to 1980. Associate members of HARDI support, encourage and promote two-step distribution within the HVAC industry. JPL practices 100% two-step distribution. SPECLINK SpecLink is the leading SaaS specification software used by AE firms, design professionals and independent spec writers to write and edit specifications for their projects. SpecLink has over 11,000 users, creating over 50,000 annual project specs, specifying over 4.5 million building products.
3. Year-Round Service: JPL’s average time to ship is 4-7 working days with very few back-orders, so you can count on the delivering of your product in a timely manner.
4. Attention to Detail: JPL carton and poly-bag packaging is considered the best in the industry, and JPL Flex is shipped on pallets that are easy to unload and store. JPL is EDI capable and we confirm PO’s within 24 hours of receipt of order. We also add barcodes to the bundle, pallet, and product itself. 5. AMBlue II: We offer the most innovative flex air duct to be introduced in the last 15 years. Mold is headline news lately and AMBlue II not only increases margin dollars, but it may also be your ticket to new business.
6. 45’ and 50’ Flex Air Ducts: Offer your customers a waste and labor savings product with JPL’s extended length flex air duct.
7. Industry Leader: Since 1961, JPL has been one of the industry leaders in designing and launching innovative flex air duct products. Extended lengths, stretch-wrapped poly-bag bundles, and flex air duct specifically designed to inhibit mold growth were all originally created and introduced by JPL.
8. Innovative Products: We have designed value into our products and will train your sales team on JPL’s many features and benefits.
9. Features and Benefits: A ⅜” oversized core, guaranteed lengths, various wire gauges, unique packaging and our 10-year warranty can save your customers time and money. 10. History: As a third generation flex air duct manufacturer with over 55 years in the business, JPL has never lost focus on our core competencies. We know the value of a good reputation and are proud of our tradition of providing service and quality of the highest level.
