THE NATURAL EVOLUTION

FINE TUNED SYSTEM ® Pre-fabricated drainage and performance underlayment. Fine Tuned is made of recycled tires, treated and encapsulated sandwich-like between two 100% recyclable polyester layers. The recycled rubber is encapsulated in polyurethane eliminating any contamination due to recycled tires.

ECOFILL ® REBOUND Patented polyolefin-based granule engineered to provide Mondo’s artificial turf fields with all of the properties of a natural grass field.

GOAL Create a new and completely innovative artificial turf system which reproduces all the characteristics of a well maintained natural grass playing field. The artificial turf system, in good weather conditions, has an infill material that offers maximum safety,

The synergy, provided by the three elements which comprise the Mondoturf FTS3 System, grants exceptional biomechanical conditions on the field for playing or practicing sports, and provides the maximum confidence at an ecological level. In addition, excellent shock absorption— vertical deformation and energy return is achieved based upon the biomechanics. Surface interaction is optimum for spike penetration and traction. Ball bounce and rolling effects are similar to those of the best natural grass. Mondoturf FTS3 is the only turf system in the world that reaches and surpasses the benchmarks set by the best natural grass fields, considering biomechanics, performance and durability.

4NX MONOFILAMENT FIBERS 400 micron thickness is unique within the industry. This insures improved elastic memory, durability and tear resistance. 4NX offers a new two-tone color that enhances the fiber to a more “natural” appearance.

IMPROVED MONOFILAMENT The new 4N X fiber maintains the excellent and successful concept of the semi concave structure with triple asymmetric spines perfecting some of the features of the 3N X , which substantially improves the technical and sports capabilities of the Mondoturf artificial turf systems. The new product, backed with a double coating of polypropylene and polyurethane guarantees a strong tear resistance of the fiber.

LATEST GENERATION POLYMER: NEW MOLECULAR ORIENTATION

The new fiber incorporates in its extrusion process a new type of low density polyethylene with a new polymerization method and a new catalysis process specifically designed for 4N X . The molecular alignment and orientation have been perfected to guarantee in the long term the excellent mechanical properties.

The addition of special anti-UV stabilizers improves resistance to UV and atmospheric chemicals.

Ecofill Rebound is in conformity with the related requirements of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and to the 16 PAH according to EPA. • Why it’s important: According to the new REACH regulation update (from 25/12/2015), people should not come into direct skin contact with products/components that contain more than 1 mg/kg of one of the 8 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHS) listed (0,5 mg for toys and childcare articles). • European Toys Safety Directive, Greenguard: HEAVY METALS TESTS Ecofill Rebound is in conformity to the EN 71-3-Category III • Why it’s important: Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC, European Standard EN 71-3, Migration of certain elements, sets exacting limits for various elements including heavy metals in children’s toys.
