Function FIrst From the benchtop workspace to the stove, fridge and sink, a kitchen needs to be functional. Think about the layout, style and space that will make your kitchen most efficient for your family. Plan for storage It’s all about storage space in the kitchen, so consider your needs now and in the future. Think about clever options, such as overhead cabinets up to the ceiling or deep drawers for pots and pans. Be bold with colour From deep greys or timber grain to other strong palettes, don’t be afraid to use bold or contrasting colours and tones on your cabinetry. It can give your space unique visual appeal. What’s your benchtop bliss? Sleek waterfall edge? Clever under-bench shelving? Stool seating, bench seating or no seating? From meal prep to casual dining, make your benchtop beautiful and multifunctional. Laminate vs stone Laminate is versatile, economical and popular. It’s made for benchtops.
