Vinfen’s Adult Community & Clinical Service Teams provide comprehensive, clinically focused services to people living with long-term mental health and substance use challenges. These teams provide community-based services seven days a week and clinical coverage 24 hours a day. Peer, family, housing, employment and coordination of care services are provided. Description: Interns placed in on an ACCS Team will be involved in clinical case management surrounding housing, referrals to services, employment, or legal issues. An intern would also participate in new enrollments, initial needs assessments and bio-psychosocial assessments. Interns will have a caseload of 3-4 clients whom they meet with weekly or bi-weekly in the community or a Group Living Environment (GLE) setting. Interns will meet twice weekly with the intervention team to participate in treatment planning. Candidate Requirements: Intern is required to be a first-year MSW or counseling student. Candidates are expected to exhibit a passion for working with individuals with mental health conditions and will be expected to manage the demands of clinical documentation. Candidates should exhibit strong communications skills, accountability and professional boundaries.

Supervision: Supervision is conducted at these placements by LICSWs and LMHCs with many years of clinical experience.

Schedule: These internships are available for Fall 2022 - Spring 2023 semesters. Interns should expect to work at least 10-15 hours per week.

Vinfen’s Central Street Aggressive Treatment and Relapse Prevention program in Lowell provides housing services to individuals experiencing chronic homelessness who have a dual diagnosis of major mental illness and a co-occurring substance use disorder. ATARP programs are designed to provide intensive clinical outreach services to support clients and their families in the community. Aggressive Treatment & Relapse Prevention Program 366 Central Street, Lowell - 1 opening Description: Interns placed in Vinfen’s ATARP program will receive a complete grounding in clinical and school-based treatment for adults with mental health conditions. Interns will complete assessments and treatment plans, as well as develop necessary skills to complete documentation under supervision of trained clinicians in the program. Interns will work with team members to develop and implement treatment plans for their clients, will regularly attend team meetings, receive training relevant to their work, and receive regular feedback about their clinical practice. Candidate Requirements: Intern is required to be MSW or counseling students. Candidates are expected to exhibit a passion for working with individuals with mental health conditions and will be expected to manage the demands of clinical documentation. Behavioral Health Outpatient Services Lowell 40 Church Street, Lowell - 2 openings

Vinfen’s behavioral health team in Lowell provides supports to individuals with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, panic disorders, child and family concerns, school or employment-related challenges, domestic violence, stress management, substance use concerns and trauma. Description: Interns working in Lowell Behavioral Health programs can expect to gain experience running groups, co-facilitating, assisting with intake and conducting individual therapy. Interns will work with team members to develop and implement treatment plans for the people we support, will regularly attend team meetings, receive training relevant to their work, and receive regular feedback about their clinical practice. Interns can expect a small caseload of clients based on their schedule and experience level. Candidate Requirements: Second-year graduate Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology students with experience in the behavioral or mental health field. Supervision: Interns will be supervised by our experienced supervisors who are licensed LICSWs. Schedule: This internship is available for Fall 2022 – Spring 2023 semesters. Interns should expect to work at least 10-15 hours per week. These programs are available Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm.

Clubs offer dynamic supports 5-6 days a week combining employment, housing and education services with social activities, life skills, wellness initiatives, arts-based rehab, and advocacy. As an intern, you will learn hands-on about the daily activities and operations of a Club. You will have the opportunity to co-facilitate group activities, participate in team meetings, and advocate on behalf of the individuals you help support. Candidate Requirements: Candidates should have a strong interest in working with adults with psychiatric challenges. Undergraduate-level candidates in a related field such as human services, psychology, social work, or public health are preferred. Supervision: This intern will report to the Clubhouse program director or assistant program director, and will work with various members of the support team. Schedule: This internship is available for the Summer or Fall 2022 semesters, but can be extended to the Spring 2023. Schedule, days and hours are flexible based on the needs of the student. Interns must work at least 10 hours per week.

Here at Vinfen, we provide comprehensive services designed to support the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as autism, physical disabilities, and visual and/or hearing impairments. This internship will introduce the individual to our residential, day, and employment support programs. Integrative Technology and Disability Advocate 950 Cambridge Street, Cambridge - 1 opening (car required) Description: The Intellectual and Developmental Services Division of Vinfen is seeking one or two individuals to assist with technology implementation projects that improve care coordination and the services Vinfen provides. Newer technology systems can be difficult for anyone to learn and feel comfortable with. This intern will work closely with program leaders across the division to make sure new systems are supported and well-received by both staff and the clients they serve. In addition, this role will collaborate with Vinfen’s Family Advisory Council to conduct a multi- media campaign promoting self-advocacy for the disability community. This campaign may include, but is not limited to, videotaping, webpage design and revision, social media marketing, and photography. Candidate Requirements: Candidates should have an interest in working in disability services and exhibit a passion for disability advocacy and awareness. Comfortability with technology software and social media is required, previous experience in disability services preferred. Intern will be expected to transport themselves to different programs in the area. Supervision: This intern will report to a direct supervisor and the Director of Services Development for this division. Schedule: This internship is available for the Summer or Fall 2022 semesters, but can be extended to the Spring 2023. Schedule, days and hours are flexible based on the needs of the student. Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern 950 Cambridge Street, Cambridge - 1 opening

Vinfen’s Communications and Development Department maintains external and internal communications to enhance and support Vinfen's corporate goals and objectives. This department directs all media relations, community relations, copy writing, publication production, internal communications, advertising, marketing, special events, and development programming such as fundraising. The team also manages the Vinfen website and social media pages. Description: The Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern will support and participate in the following activities: partnering with team members to assess our email marketing platform and grow segment audiences/contact lists; create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote Vinfen on social media channels; track social media engagement to identify high- performing ideas and campaigns; monitor social media channels for engagement and find opportunities for Vinfen to engage as content experts; conduct community management for follower/following hygiene and to promote channel growth; support the team at any live events; and pull monthly metrics into reporting documents. This position is remote but some hours can be conducted at our 950 Cambridge Street location if desired. Candidate Requirements: This position is ideal for Senior undergraduates or first-year graduate students studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Supervision: This intern will report to Vinfen's Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager.

Schedule: This internship is available for Summer or Fall 2022. Interns are expected to work between the hours of 8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday (some weekend hours may be accepted for project-based work.

Graphic Design Intern 950 Cambridge Street, Cambridge - 1 opening filled

Vinfen’s Communications and Development Department maintains external and internal communications to enhance and support Vinfen's corporate goals and objectives. This department directs all media relations, community relations, copy writing, publication production, internal communications, advertising, marketing, special events, and development programming such as fundraising. The team also manages the Vinfen website and social media pages. Description: The Graphic Design Intern will support and participate in the following activities: design a variety of digital and promotional elements including social media graphics, event save-the-dates and invites, flyers, and brochures; oversee stock photography cataloging to support utilization of current stock imagery portfolio; work with the team to support continued evolution of our brand through continued development of brand hierarchy, architecture, and style guide; and support all print and collateral production needs including overseeing the process for getting files to the printer through to completion. This position is fully remote.

Candidate Requirements: This position is ideal for Senior undergraduates or first-year graduate students with strong skills in Adobe programs.

Supervision: This intern will report to Vinfen's Senior Graphic Designer.

Schedule: This internship is available for Summer or Fall 2022. Interns are expected to work between the hours of 8am - 6pm, Monday - Friday (some weekend hours may be accepted for project-based work.
