Macpherson Undercoat helps you get the most from Macpherson Gloss. It flows easily and has great covering power; the perfect non-absorbent base to achieve maximum impact from our high sheen gloss colours. Macpherson Gloss allows you to achieve the high sheen finish you can be proud of - and because we use a superior quality alkyd resin in the formulation, those good looks will stand the test of time. A hardwearing emulsion for interior walls and ceilings, specially formulated to allow scuffs and stains to be easily washed away. With built in stain and moisture resistance, keeping walls cleaner for longer.

The format of a SCAN ® code is:

Hue - the colour. The colour wheel is divided into 24 segments each represented by a letter of the alphabet excluding I and O. Each of the 24 segments is further broken down and given a numerical value from 0-9. This provides 240 possible hues. Lightness - a measurement of the reflection of light, with 0 being the darkest and 99 the lightest. Current Equality Act legislation suggests differentiation in lightness between significant surfaces and features, to assist navigation. This can immediately be determined using the middle digits of the SCAN ® code. Saturation - the richness of the colour. The less saturated the colour, the duller and greyer it appears. Saturation increases the further the colour is from the centre of the circle. SCAN ® will allow a differentiation of 240 levels or in percentage terms less than 0.5%.

ACRYLIC EGGSHELL water-based

A quick-drying alternative to conventional eggshell. Provides a durable, washable sheen finish which will not yellow. It goes on easily and you won’ t need to worry about paint odours. Solvent-borne primer providing a good base for decoration on correctly prepared plaster, metal and wood. Also suitable for cleaned and new galvanised surfaces. Acts as a good rust inhibitor. Solvent-borne interior and exterior wood primer suitable for use on softwood, plywood, MDF, flakeboard and chipboard. Seals the surface to provide excellent adhesion.
