From start to finish, over 300 hours are put into the creation of each annual gingerbread house, starting in mid-October and ending at the beginning of December. The 2018 gingerbread house was spectacular, with Chef Annie pulling inspiration from her summer trip to Spain and the beautiful and colorful architecture she saw by Antoni Gaudi. Chef Annie’s creativity combined with a little bit of patience and a steady hand, delivers a memorable and delightful house that kids and adults both look forward to each year. Follow along on Instagram (@wilmingtoncc1901) as the holiday season approaches for a behind the scenes peak in to the building of the 2019 gingerbread house.
