L’AZIENDA MAK S.p.A. nasce nel 1991 dalla joint venture tra due storiche realtà attive nel settore della produzione industriale metallurgica e nel campo commerciale dell’automotive, distinguendosi nel libero mercato della produzione di ruote in lega leggera. MAK rappresenta un affermato marchio nel panorama nazionale ed internazionale, riconosciuto come uno dei leader del settore. Ispirandosi alla filosofia “Lean Thinking”, MAK privilegia la riduzione degli sprechi, il miglioramento dei processi interni e la costante ricerca di efficienza e qualità produttiva attraverso sinergia e lavoro di squadra. Il tema della sostenibilità ambientale rappresenta una delle sfide per l’azienda che sta investendo nell’utilizzo di energie alternative, nel recupero degli scarti di produzione e nell’ottimizzazione della logistica. Tra le diverse soluzioni di spedizione si annoverano: consegna giornaliera mediante corriere espresso, container diretti dal luogo di produzione al magazzino del cliente fino alla ampia personalizzazione della spedizione secondo esigenze. MAK dispone di un supporto web semplice ed intuitivo: dalla piattaforma B2B è infatti possibile consultare e ordinare i prodotti disponibili in magazzino, verificando al contempo i prossimi arrivi e informazioni sulle compatibilità.

THE COMPANY MAK S.p.A. was founded in 1991 as a result of a joint venture between two important companies active in the industrial metallurgical production sector and in the commercial automotive field. The company has distinguished itself in the after market for the production of light alloy wheels. MAK is a well-known brand on the national and international scene, recognised as one of the leaders in the market. Inspired by the “Lean Thinking” philosophy, MAK focuses on waste reduction, internal processes efficiency and production quality, through synergy and teamwork. Environmental sustainability is one of the challenges for the company, which is investing in the use of alternative energy sources, the re-use of production waste and the optimisation of logistics. The various shipping solutions include: daily shipments by express courier, direct containers from the production site to the customer’s warehouse, and extensive customisation of the shipment according to the needs. MAK offers a simple and intuitive web support: on the B2B platform it is possible to look for and order the products available in the warehouse, as well as to check upcoming arrivals and information on the possible wheel combinations.

Homologations All MAK wheels are homologated according to each country regulations. MAK range is always up-to-date thanks to a constant and strong effort during the homologation process, test and quality check. Along with each wheel MAK provides the required homologation paper, granting the conformity of the wheelsmounted on your car. MAK laboratory achieved the VIA certification and accreditation from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to proceed with the required tests for the approval of its products. Companies are awardedwith these certifications only after a careful scrutiny by the competent authorities, who recognized MAK the necessary quality to test their products.
