The 2018 golf season will have lots of opportunities for casual rounds of golf and generally one special event/tournament per month. Our first regular play day is Saturday, 7 April, and the first tournament is the Memorial Stableford on Saturday, 28 April. To kick off the CWGO season, those attending opening day luncheon and scramble on Saturday, 31 March will be the first to have an opportunity to sign up for this year’s WWOFO golf trip which will be heading to a new venue this year – the Golden Horseshoe at Colonial Williamsburg. The Spring Kickoff will begin at 11:00 AM at ARL for a social hour followed by lunch and a brief business meeting before we head to the course for a 9-hole scramble. For this event, teams will be assigned, and no handicaps are required. Please click here for additional CWGO updates. We will kickoff the season with our annual Spring Luncheon on Wednesday, 28 March at ARL. We will meet at 11:00 in the Arnold Ballroom for our business meeting and then move to the Nimitz Ballroom for a social period before lunch at noon. Remember also that we will hold our raffle fundraiser, our only such event of the year.
