Our People
Offices across the North America region welcomed back attorneys and staff. Administrative Assistant Maria Rivera smiles as individuals enter the Miami office.

Welcome back to the office.
Since offices reopened, we continue to welcome your feedback as the Board works with Office Managing Partners to assess situations in each office across our region.
I encourage you to continue to keep an open mind, be flexible, provide your feedback, and know we are working to ensure that we continue to provide the best service to our clients, rebuild a strong and adhesive firm culture, and provide flexibility to our teams whenever possible. It has been wonderful seeing everyone’s return- to-office experiences, from photos and videos, to catching up with friends and welcoming new colleagues. You can check out some of these return- to-office memories on the next page, as well as throughout this newsletter. Your Office Administrator will continue to share information about local events, policies, etc., in line with the Board’s direction. In addition, resources are available to help support those navigating our hybrid environment (see page 7 ).
You can also read how those within our Employee Resource Groups tackled the challenges this pandemic presented when it came to juggling work and family responsibilities (see page 13 ). W e are all in this together and are proud to provide resources to help you adapt to work back at the office. Along with return-to-office information, in this newsletter, we share tools available to help you focus on your professional and personal development (see pages 7-8 ); provide updates on the way the firm invests in the recruitment and development of early talent (see pages 9-10 ); demonstrate how the firm’s Client Relationship Partners enhance our connections with key clients (see page 16 ); and celebrate the North American region’s newest Equity and Senior Equity Partners, as well as new Senior Counsel (see pages 19-20 ).
In-person working allows us to rebuild connections, meet new colleagues and learn to work in the ‘new normal.’ “

While we were apart for nearly two years, it is great seeing smiles, sharing conversations, meeting new hires, and being back in the office together once again. A big thank you to our senior operational team of Senior Human Resources Manager Rachael De Mey, North America Administration and Facilities Manager Angela Green, and Senior Office Administrators Cyndi Duran and Patrick Postolka, along with our OAs and many others for facilitating our successful return to office.

Campus Recruitment: Looking Ahead
Campus recruitment offers the opportunity to reach a more diverse candidate population than lateral hiring alone. A s we plan for the fall recruitment season and look to deepen law school relationships, there will be opportunities for campus outreach, including meeting with student groups to share with them about the firm and our practices, or assisting with mock interviews. Attorneys interested in getting involved with the summer program or future campus outreach activities should reach out to your office contacts or a member of the recruitment team. In the coming weeks, we will announce the Inclusion Matters Scholarship winner, along with our 2022 Summer Associate Class, and share further program information.
