COVID-19 PANDEMIC RECOVERY

PHASE II EFFECTIVE JUNE 15TH

WILMINGTON COUNTRY CLUB

2020 I JUNE 15TH

PHASE TWO

The following are the general guidelines for Phase - II, effective June 15th. As we transition into Phase - III, at a time still unknown, it is expected that some of the guidelines may be modified.

• Phase II goes into effect June 15th.

• Safety and health: All employees will continue to complete a daily health questionnaire prior to being allowed work. Employees who exhibit signs of illness are required to stay home. PPE standards will remain in place. This varies slightly depending on the duties performed, but generally includes proper distancing, and masks. • Members will continue to be reminded of the importance to maintain a safe community and practice physical distancing. They will be encouraged to stay away from the club if they are feeling ill or exhibiting any signs of COVID-19.

• The Club property will be available to Members and Guests. Members are responsible to communicate essential COVID-19 rules, venue usage protocols and expectations to their family guests prior to arrival on campus.

• Members age 10 through 15 may utilize the club independently but parents must inform them of safety protocols including the proper wearing of face masks and maintaining physical distancing that must be practiced while on campus.

As is the case with any facility outside of your home, use of the facilities at Wilmington Country Club may expose you to the COVID-19 virus. Your decision to access Club facilities is made knowingly and voluntarily by you with full knowledge of this risk. If you do decide to use the Club, your use of these facilities shall mean that you are accepting the risks associated with the COVID-19 virus, have read and agree to all of our rules and protocols as they relate to COVID-19 and acknowledge that the Club is not responsible should you contract the virus. It is presumed that the membership will make their own assessment of the associated risks of coming to the Club and will act accordingly.

CLUBHOUSE • All operating protocols established for Phase-I continue

• Members will have full access to the Clubhouse. Some areas may be restricted by occupancy limitations. Strict physical distancing requirements remain in place. • Facemasks will be required by all individuals in the clubhouse • Enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols (high touch points) remain in place. • Elevator capacity will be restricted to single riders or a household unit. • Reception will remain unstaffed with automated phone answering to continue • Office/Accounting access: must have a purpose and be pre-arranged • Valet Parking: Not staffed • No vendor, sales or delivery persons on property without prior arrangement LOCKER ROOMS • All operations permitted in Phase-I continue. • Shower areas are available. • Lounge areas will remain closed – no beverages or snacks provided • Men’s Sauna: Closed • No grooming or personal care amenities will be provided

FAMILY CENTER • The Family Center is open for access to family lockers. • Family center restrooms and showers are closed during Phase-II.

CARD PLAY/MAH JONG/BOOK CLUB • Not permitted in Phase-II.

GUEST SUITES • Guest Suites will remain closed in Phase-II.

• T he total number of diners permitted in a dining area is limited to a percentage of

fire code capacity (30%) and table spacing must follow strict distancing guidelines.

Grille=24 seats, Tavern= 30 seats, Dining Room= 30 seats, Cafe 1901= 38 seats,

Pub37= 42 seats. • In order to satisfy the occupancy requirements, reservations will be required for

dine-in table service in the Tavern & Grille and Formal Dining as well as outdoor

seating under the tent. Reservations can be made by using the WCC ForeTees

Mobile App. Reservations for the day of can be made by calling the Club and

leaving a message on the main voicemail. We will call you to confirm your

reservation. All same day reservations must be made by 4:30 p.m. • Individuals over the age of two must wear a face covering while at their tables

when not eating or drinking, whenever staff approaches the table and whenever

they get up from the table. • Diners must all have seats, be seated and remain seated unless going to the restroom. No activities other than dining may take place at a table. • Only members of the same household may share a table with a maximum party size of six people. (only 4 adults) • A 10 p.m. curfew will be imposed, resulting in last call for all dining and drinks at

9:45 pm.

The following are the racquet guidelines for Phase - II, effective June 15th. As we transition into Phase - III, at a time still unknown, it is expected that some of the guidelines may be modified.

TENNIS • Members introducing guests are required to pre-register their guest(s) with the racquet shop at least 24 hours prior to the day of play. • Masks must be worn at all times while in or playing indoor tennis. • All guest rules and frequency limitations apply. • Hours of operation are 9:00 am to 8:00 pm with no night play available. • Racquets Shop expands limitations on the number of individuals permitted in the space at any time. • All individuals in the Shop must wear face masks at all times. • All in-person purchases will be run via member charge. Cash or credit card payments will not accepted. • Lessons and clinics available with a 6:1 ratio. • Junior Racquet Classes permitted in Phase - II with a 6:1 ratio • G athering or assembly for socializing before, during and after play is permitted. Groups must be no larger than 10 people while maintainig 6’ social distancing. • Court benches and off court sitting areas are available. • The water and ice station with cups will be available for use. There will be no straws or lids.

The following are the golf guidelines for Phase - II, effective June 15th. As we transition into Phase - III, at a time still unknown, it is expected that some of the guidelines may be modified.

• All physical distancing requirements remain in place. • Starting times are no longer required for regular play or practice. • Members introducing guests are required to pre-register their guest(s) with the golf shop at least 24 hours prior to the day of play. • All guest rules and frequency limitations apply. • Number of hitting stations at the range increases. • Caddies may carry bags, must remain 10 feet away and off of greens. • Rakes and benches return, flagsticks may still not be touched. • There will not be shag bags provided in the short game practice ranges. • Greeter/bag assist: Not staffed • Golf Shop expands limitations on the number of individuals permitted in the space at any time to 5 (excluding staff). Everyone in the Golf Shop must wear face masks.

• Lessons/clinics are permitted at a maximum of 6:1 ratio. • Junior Golf Classes permitted in Phase - II with a 6:1 ratio.

• Bag storage opens thirty minutes prior to the first tee time and closes at dusk. Members who wish to retrieve their bag from storage should form a line at the designated member queue for bags. Lines will be marked on the ground at a distance of six feet apart to maintain proper physical distancing in the event multiple members arrive at once. No member may enter the bag room or starter’s office at any time. Please do not cross the marked X’s in front of the doors.

Please be reminded that all of the club’s traditional rules remain in effect. This includes policy for dress code, personal electronic devices, outside food & beverage, etc. We kindly ask for your continued assistance in maintaining a minimum physical distance of six feet from other members and staff at all times, and please do not gather in groups.

The following are the fitness guidelines for Phase - II, effective June 15th. As we transition into Phase - III, at a time still unknown, it is expected that some of the guidelines may be modified.

• Members and guests. • All guest rules and frequency limitations apply. • Monday- Friday 6 AM – 6 PM • Saturday and Sunday 7 AM – 3 PM • Members and staff must wear face coverings while in the Fitness Center at all times. • All members must register with staff upon arrival. You will asked to provide first and last name, as well as your individual member number. • Every member will receive a briefing on expectations/requirements relative to limiting the transmission of COVID-19 in a fitness/exercise environment. • Exercise equipment will be spaced and rotated in use to maintain a distance of at least six feet between members. A green tag indicates the piece of equipment is available for use; a red tag indicates that the piece of equipment is currently not available for use. • There will be no group exercise or yoga classes during Phase-II • Massage treatment is not allowed during Phase-II • One-on-one personal training is available with the assurance of proper physical distancing. • Members should bring their own mask, ear buds, water bottle, and towel. Towels will not be provided during Phase-II. • Look for equipment with a green tag—this equipment has been cleaned and is ready for use. Equipment with a red tag is unavailable until a staff member cleans it and places the green tag on it (physical distancing may delay the return of a piece of equipment until safe to do so). • Please clean equipment before and after each use. Sanitation and disinfection equipment/stations will be provided. • For heavy contact equipment (kettlebells, medicine balls, etc.) a designated cleaning station will be clearly marked--- please place equipment there for staff to thoroughly clean before they return it to its place. • Recreational walking on the Service Road path will continue.

• Members and staff will wear face masks at all times within the facility in accordance with the

State of Emergency Orders. Individuals are now required to wear masks and eye protection

while playing. You may wear a mask and eye guards, or a mask and a Mask (squash Specific) on

the court. Eye mask shields available for purchase in the Racquet Shop.

• WCC is allowing singles and doubles play.

• Court Reservations are required for play. Please use the Foretees System or contact the

Racquet Shop. Drop in play is not allowed.

• Squash Building hours are from 7:00AM-8:30PM. Singles Court reservations will be

one hour long; 45 minutes of play and then 15 Minutes to clean and then exit the building.

Doubles Court reservations will be 75 minutes long; 60 minutes of play and then 15 Minutes to

clean and the exit the building. Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes along with a Swiffer like tool

to clean the walls will be available outside court 1, between courts 2 and 3 singles, and

between the doubles courts. Please help by cleaning all touch points and back and side walls

up to six feet high after using the court. Remember, WCC has newly sanded squash floors. Be

mindful not to spill or over spray on the walls to avoid getting any fluid on the floors.

• Players must apply hand sanitizer or wash their hands prior to entering and when leaving the

court.

• It is best if members can flick the ball against the wall to pick it up, or use their foot to lift the

ball. Using the racquet to toss the ball to serve is also recommended.

• Players should do their best to keep their hands off the walls. Each player should bring a

towel on to the court and keep it at the tin. Headbands and wristbands work well too.

Remember, WCC has newly sanded squash floors. Please do not bring any beverages on the

court.

• Please enter the squash building through the breezeway entrance or the Racquet Shop, and

then exit through the double doors nearest the flag pole.

• Players will use a designated area for their bags, marked on the ground outside each court,

and use their own equipment. Players should bring their own towels and water bottles. Please

leave water bottles off court.

• No spectators are allowed in the squash building for viewing at this point.

• Private lessons are being offered for both singles and doubles; however maximum of two

students on the singles and three on the doubles court. The Squash ball machine is for lessons

only and will only be touched by the squash professionals and

cleaned between sessions.

• There will be no guests allowed at this time.

• If you are not feeling well, or have a fever, please stay at home.
