New Location on the Block! PRO PT EAST IS NOW OPEN!
It was a long road. But after much planning, waiting, preparing, construction delay, excitement, and hard work, I’m excited and proud to announce that Pro PT East is NOW OPEN! Our core values include putting our patients first and helping them achieve meaningful results with positivity and optimism. Thus, it only made sense to open another clinic on the other side of town to better serve our patients! Pro PT East is the same exact size as Pro PT West, so we’ve literally doubled in size. It feels refreshing to have plenty of space to provide everyone with an even better and more personal experience while still delivering the same quality of care. Whether it be TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction), back and sciatica pain, a hip injury, rotator cuff complications, or balance concerns, both locations are equipped with the equipment and staff to help! Pro PT East’s layout closely resembles Pro PT West’s for the same ease and comfort while providing a modern flair — everything is much more open and airier. Instead of hanging blinds on the windows, we opted for frosting them to allow maximum natural light into the clinic. The ceilings are high, our new evaluation rooms are much larger, and the office itself provides for more storage. This clinic, just like Pro PT West, has a laser, treatment tables, arm bike, bike, treadmills, and tables — both offices offer the same equipment to aid your therapy.

She is also certified in the Graston Technique and experienced in cupping, K-taping, and joint mobilization techniques. We are extremely excited to welcome you to Pro PT East. Embarking on an RV Journey 3 TIPS FOR SENIORS BEFORE BUYING AN RV You can tour the country without ever having to leave your home — motor home, that is! Seniors around the country are all hopping aboard the RV train because it’s a great way to get up close and personal with nature while being free to go where you want. One morning, your backyard can be Yellowstone National Park, and the next, you’re in the Mojave Desert! If you’re looking to purchase an RV in your golden years, here are some tips. Rent one first. Renting an RV before you make the commitment to buy one is the way to go, especially if you’ve never taken a trip in one before! This way, you can take it for a nice long test drive and determine which features are must-haves and which you can do without. It’s also a great way to make sure you’re okay being in such a small space with your family, partner, or travel buddy! Don’t rule out pre-owned RVs. RVs can be expensive, depending on which model you are looking into. In some cases, opting to purchase a pre-owned RV can save you a great deal of money. And, if you get a great deal on a pre-owned one, you can repair, renovate, and redecorate it to your liking with the money you saved. An additional perk is that insurance is usually cheaper on pre-owned RVs! Do your research. There is much more to buying an RV beyond the actual shopping experience. You have to also learn to drive and/or tow it! Before making a purchase, be sure to research and look up reviews on the driving experiences of other owners of the same make and model. An RV can be a second home, so take your time and make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. Before making your decision and pulling the trigger on your brand- new RV, make sure you’ve done your homework and are prepared for life on the road! A huge adventure awaits — the best thing you can be is prepared!

It helps us regulate body temperature. Dehydration leads to our bodies storing more heat, which lowers our ability to handle these hot summer temperatures. When we are well- hydrated, our bodies are able to produce sweat in reaction to high temperatures to help to cool us down and prevent heat stroke and other heat-related problems.
constipation, irregular bowel movements, gas, and bloating. To maintain healthy and regular digestion, drinking enough water is crucial!
It improves your brain function. Even losing just 2% of your body’s fluids can have detrimental effects on
your mental state. Dehydration can impact your mood, memory, reaction time, and concentration. Especially as we age, staying hydrated is important to maintain cognitive function. It reduces and prevents joint pain. The cartilage in our body that lubricates our joints is roughly 80% water. Drinking enough fluids aids your joints in maintaining proper lubrication to avoid friction and pain when we move and engage in physical activities.
Consuming water is a natural form of detoxing. When we drink plenty of water, our bodies are better able to flush out harmful substances in our body through perspiration, urination, bowel movements, and breathing. Staying hydrated is the key to supporting our overall health. To ensure you are providing your body with enough fluid, the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine recommends men drink about 3.7 liters of fluid daily and women drink about 2.7 liters of water.
Hydration keeps you energized. When our bodies become dehydrated, our circulation slows, which can lead to a decrease of oxygen flow to our brain. This makes our hearts work double-time to pump more oxygen. That expended energy can lead to feeling tired, worn down, and sluggish. When we are amply hydrated, our energy levels are boosted!

There is so much to do outdoors to stay busy while enjoying the fresh air, sun, and summer vibes, but it’s important to drink enough water, too! We all know our bodies are made up of anywhere from 55% to 78% water.
