Sempervivum hybrids Sempervivum are great additions to rock gardens, containers, pathway crevices, rooftops, etc. They’re extremely hardy and easy to care for, making them a success in a variety of situations. In addition to our Mixed & Mingled™ trays, we offer four single premium varieties. For information on the Mixed & Mingled™ trays, see page 13. BIRCHMEIER This is one of the largest Sempervivums we’ve seen in our gardens to date. A single, large rosette of bright green with deep burgundy tips forms with smaller offsets to the sides. A great feature to mix in among other low growing succulent groundcovers. 32S, 84 1 BRONCO Similar in coloration to Birchmeier, but without the single, large rosette. Rather, Bronco forms a mat of evenly sized offshoots that spread out to make a medium textured groundcover. 32S, 84 1 COBWEB BUTTONS Petite rosettes of pale green are covered in a dense webbing of gray threads. Plants offset quickly, forming tight clumps or mats in the garden over time. In the late spring and early summer, clusters of purple star-shaped flower clusters will appear above the foliage on short stems. 32S, 84 1 VORTEX ™ The perfect pair for Birchmeier, Vortex also produces a very large, central rosette with smaller offsets to the sides. Deep burgundy leaves have accenting bright green margins. 32S, 84 1
