Maybe a little bit lower on some technical issues. The main issues we experienced were in the set up and configuration and these were not anticipated. However, they were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the team. The systemmet our requirements for ease of use and functionality. Some people working on forecasting may not be experienced or comfortable with Excel which increases chances of errors but this tool is exceptional in my opinion. It is quite simply the best budgeting tool I have come across. We had some challenges, mainly with the set-up, and maintenance of the tool requires some technical expertise. Hervé and his team have been very good and quick in helping to explain and resolve issues. I can recommend this product to other companies with similar business issues.”

Company Profile Combe is a Multinational company established in 1949. This company markets personal care products that meet real customer needs. The Challenge Ravinder Gill is a qualified accountant currently working as Project Manager with Combe. After successfully implementing Epicor ERP in the UK subsidiary he is now focusing on phase II of the project which includes Budgeting and Forecasting requirements. He has this to say regarding their challenge. “Two or three years ago, Combe Corporate HQ requested detailed formal budgets be submitted 4 times a year in a fixed format. These were prepared using large cumbersome spreadsheets which were problematic to maintain and use by the team. We saw a lot of errors and our sheets were quite often not linked together correctly.” The Solution “We looked at Epicor Financial Planner because it was recommended to us by a senior consultant who helped us with our previous implementation. It followed on from the decision for Combe to move to a new system.
