Tenet is one of the UK’s largest and most financially robust adviser support groups, providing a comprehensive development programme for Tenet advisers to improve the quality of advice delivered to customers. The programme involves the support and expertise from providers, lenders and fund managers for mutual business benefit. Tenet has over a quarter of a century’s worth of experience, £30m net assets, significant cash reserves and three institutional shareholders (Aviva, Standard Life Aberdeen & Aegon), so we are robust and here for the long-term. As a provider partner working with Tenet, you would be able to promote your expertise, products and services to over 2000 advisers, through our marketing and events packages. The advisers we work with are independent or restricted (or even a hybrid of both); appointed representative or directly authorised; investment or non-investment; at Tenet, there is a choice of business models. We have networks for investment (TenetConnect) and non-investment (TenetLime) and also provide quality compliance and business support services to directly authorised firms (TenetSelect). Whichever route advisers with Tenet follow, they will have a team of over 250 people who will strive to add value and income to their business.

MULTI-AWARD WINNING Our most recent accolade was in February 2019 where it was announced Tenet had been awarded as the ‘ Best Network’ by Professional Adviser, and in November 2018 we were ranked as the ‘ No. 1 ’ FT Adviser from their list of Top 100 Financial Advisers in 2018. What’s more in 2018 we were awarded ‘ Best Network ’ from Money Marketing for the third time in four years. Over the last couple of years, we have also won a Business Quality Award for customer excellence from Legal & General, recognition as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer from the National Apprenticeship Service, an ‘ exceptional ’ three-star accreditation from Investor In Customers, and also a one star ‘very good’ Best Company accolade.

Tenet’s specialist supplements

HOT TOPIC THEMED MAGAZINES (NON-INVESTMENT) Tenet will design, publish and distribute three ‘hot topic’ magazines, with associated promotions including promotional emails, which follow the theme of our three sets of non-investment events taking place during the year. The idea of the magazines is to develop adviser awareness and understanding of the non-investment market, offering suitable solutions in order to enhance the advice and service provided. Hard copies of the magazines will be provided to all attendees at the set of events which follow the same theme, with a digital format being sent to all TenetLime advisers following the event. FUND SPOTLIGHT SUPPLEMENT Tenet will design, publish and distribute two fund manager supplements as part of our Connected and Selected publications twice a year. Content within each publication is aimed to develop adviser awareness and understanding of the investment market, offering suitable solutions in order to enhance the advice and service provided. PROTECTION INSIGHT SUPPLEMENT The protection supplements will be published and distributed as part of Tenet’s Connected and Selected publications twice a year. Content within each publication is aimed to develop adviser awareness and understanding of the protection market, positioning the importance of establishing a customer’s protection needs and offering suitable solutions in order to enhance the advice and service provided.

LENDER INSIGHT DIGITAL PUBLICATION

Lender Insight is a digital only magazine which will be distributed bi-monthly (six times during the year). This digital magazine provides the opportunity for lenders to promote their services, mortgage products and/or lending criteria to Tenet firms holding a mortgage licence. Content within each publication is aimed to develop adviser awareness and understanding of the mortgage market and offering suitable solutions in order to enhance the advice and service provided. The magazine will be available in

digital only format via a dedicated URL link (appearing like a website), and can be viewed by all Tenet advisers but its availability will be promoted via dedicated emails and other prompts to advisers holding a mortgage licence. The format of the magazine will provide the lender with a page of content, with promotion via the home page of the digital magazine.

GUIDE TO START YOUR YEAR PUBLICATION

Tenet will design, publish and distribute a Guide to Start Your Year at the end of the 2019 programme providing an overview of the market from both our provider and fund manager partners. This will allow for the positioning of opportunities within these sectors over the coming year supporting Tenet advisers (both network and directly authorised) with their end customer strategies and financial planning needs. The Guide to Start Your Year will be sent to all investment advisers within TenetConnect and TenetSelect. The e-book versions of all publications are then held on the Tenet extranet sites and are advertised within Tenet emails.

Tenet extranet, emails and banner advertising

Promotion exposure via Tenet’s extranet Tenet’s extranet site is designed to contain all relevant information needed by Tenet advisers in order to improve the quality of advice given to customers. The extranet site includes regulatory information, guidance on advice processes, product information, Tenet approved product and fund panels, and an archive of materials which will be utilised by advisers on a regular basis. Tenet has created an extranet site for each Tenet brand so that all information and content within these sites is made available to advisers active in relevant markets to ensure that you, the provider, only promote to the correct audience for your products.

Banner advertising Within the Tenet non-investment site, TenetLime, there are banner adverts, which operate on a rolling basis. Each banner can have a ‘click-through’ function, where the adviser can be directed to a provider site for further information. Dependant on the package you choose you will be able to contribute banner content to improve brand awareness, promote products and to support campaigns. Banner adverts are constantly visible to advisers and contained on every extranet page. All provider banners will rotate on the refresh or opening of each page, so that total exposure will be proportional to the overall number of banners being used at any time. Banner adverts can be changed at any time upon request although notice will need to be given to Tenet to make these changes. Weekly Provider News Provider News is a weekly communication of content sent through from providers, which is aimed to assist advisers in keeping up to date with their market knowledge and therefore improving the advice received by their customers. These weekly news communications are collated and formatted by our marketing department and issued out to the relevant Tenet brands through targeted emails. All news received is placed on the Tenet extranet sites for maximum publicity, further reading and reference. Content will be promoted by priority order through featured and standard promotions, depending on the package chosen by you.

Provider partners page on Tenet’s extranet As part of the partner package, you have

complimentary access to our provider partners’ page on the extranet which is split between fund managers, providers and lenders. Within this page we will add your logo, company synopsis together with your website details.

We have worked with Tenet now for a

number of years, and have always found the promotion of our activity to be of an extremely high standard. The quality of both hard copy and digital content is excellent

Graham Taylor National Account Manager LV=

Bespoke emails We will send bespoke emails on your behalf for you to promote your products or services, assisting advisers, and helping them to keep up to date with their market knowledge and improving the advice received by their customers. These bespoke emails are collated and formatted by Tenet and issued out to the relevant Tenet brands. You will be able to include your own header, imagery and links through to your website to further promote your products and services. Bespoke emails are issued out to all Tenet brands in a bespoke format so advisers only receive news and content relevant to their markets.

Package entitlement is one bespoke in a week of the providers’ preference (subject to availability). There is no specific format required for the content, as Tenet will work with you to decide a

title, opening line and then how the format is viewed by advisers.
