DAILY SCHEDULE _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ MONDAY, JULY 6TH 10:00 AM Cardio Bootcamp (45 min): In this high-intensity cardio bootcamp, you will combine a series of bodyweight exercises to jumpstart your fitness, core strength, and flexibility. You’ll push your body to the max as you master each workout’s unique challenges. Note: Be sure to wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes, and set up in a space where you can move around safely. You can choose to have your camera and sound off for this activity, since you’ll be following along with the instructor. 11:15 AM Current Events Club (45 min): Join with fellow EXPLO students to discuss and dissect a variety of important current events. Whether you’re interested in technology, politics, public health, or something else entirely, your thoughts and perspectives will bring a valuable voice to the conversation! Bring your ideas and questions, or feel free to just drop in to listen and learn more. Dungeons & Dragons Club (45 min): Join us for an exciting round of D&D, a role-playing game full of action and adventure. You’ll engage in a beginner-friendly campaign of monster slaying and conquests, building camaraderie with your teammates and honing your strategic gameplay in a welcoming environment. No experience necessary; though experienced players are also welcome! Note: If you’re new to D&D, consider checking out the resources on the student site prior to your first session.

12:45 PM Drop-in Discussion: Artificial Intelligence (45 min): What are your thoughts on the fast-moving development of artificial intelligence? What kind of impact do you think AI will have in the next 5, 10, or 20 years? Join with fellow EXPLO students to discuss and debate this popular and nuanced topic. Bring your ideas and questions, or just drop in to listen and learn more.

Social Justice Action Club (45 min): COVID-19, police brutality, systemic racism, a weak economy, lack of adequate healthcare, and the 2020 Election are hot topics in the news today. This club is a space to discuss today's issues and empower you to find your voice and take action. Bring your questions, resources, insights, and passion so we can help you organize and fight for justice. Philosophy + Ethics Club (45 min): Gather with peers to explore complex ideas from a variety of angles and perspectives. Discuss questions posed by great philosophers while

untangling concepts like nature, art, ethics, logic and even your very own existence. All are welcome; no prior philosophy or ethics experience is necessary to participate!

Creativity Challenge (45 min): Today’s challenge will feature blackout poetry. Blackout poetry (also known as erasure poetry) is created using words that are already written — such as a page of a book, newspaper, or even a Wikipedia page. Come learn the basics of blackout poetry, and then take on the challenge of creating your own poem and, if you’d like, sharing it with fellow EXPLO students!

TUESDAY, JULY 7TH 10:00 AM Leadership + Personality Club (45 min): What kind of leader are you? What are some of your strengths to be celebrated, and growth areas to be improved? Explore these questions, and more, as you gather with peers to find your unique style as a leader and identify personality traits to put your best foot forward. 11:15 AM Bullet Journaling Skill Session (45 min): Pick a fun theme and try your hand at bullet journaling by creating your first daily and weekly layout. Then, join us at this session to share your designs, admire the work of your peers, and gain inspiration for additional bullet journaling endeavors. Note: Be sure to watch the tutorial video on the student site for step-by-step instructions. You can join this session regardless of what stage you’re at in creating your bullet journal. Filming an Interview Skill Session (45 min): Practice your technical and artistic skills by filming an interview using only your phone. Then, join us at this session (think of it as a mini-film festival!) to share your work, see what others have created, and gather feedback and ideas for your next interview. Note: Be sure to watch the tutorial video on the student site for step-by-step instructions. You can join this session regardless of what stage you’re at in recording your interview. 12:15 PM Daily Gathering (15 min): Join with the EXPLO Online community to learn about today’s offerings, celebrate student work, and stay informed of updates and announcements. 12:45 PM Viral Video-Making (45 min): Take your video creation game to a new level by tackling this week’s challenge, which will be revealed at the beginning of the session. Work with your fellow EXPLO students to create a brief clip that rivals videos that have gone viral in the past. Think you can create a compelling message in 20 seconds or less? Produce the most creative video of all? Only time will tell. Note: You don’t need any prior video creation experience to participate and enjoy this activity; all are welcome!

Speaker Series: Daniel Thrasher (45 min) : Join our live session with Daniel Thrasher, a musical sketch comedy YouTuber with over 1 million subscribers online. How did he get to be a YouTuber? What has he learned? Why does he think he has the coolest job in the world? Once a former EXPLO instructor (in Improvisational Comedy and Acting & Directing for the Camera), he is super excited to be back and share his wacky journey! Yoga (45 min): Strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and center your mind through the practice of yoga at this beginner-friendly session. Experience the benefits of a practice designed for both mind and body. Note: Be sure to wear comfortable workout clothes, and set up in a space where you have either a yoga mat or another comfortable surface (carpet, etc.) to practice on. You can choose to have your camera and sound off for this activity, since you’ll be following along with the instructor. Movie Night: Incredibles 2 (2 hours): Make yourself a tasty snack and settle in for a movie night with fellow EXPLO students. Enjoy the social aspect of watching a movie virtually with friends while enjoying Incredibles 2 .

Coffeehouse (45 min) : Grab your instrument of choice, warm up those vocal chords, and prepare to livestream a musical performance straight from your home. Whether or not you perform, you can also tune in to enjoy hearing fellow EXPLO students sing and play a variety of songs. Party Games (45 min): Join us for an EXPLO-only game of Skribbl.io, the online charades-inspired drawing game. Drawing in a web browser with a limited toolset means that the pictures we draw often look ridiculous—and that’s half the fun. Draw some pictures and guess what others are trying to express as you try to rack up the most points in the game. No experience necessary!
