Welcome 2022 Interns!

On June 1st, we welcomed over 50 interns to our organization! These students are a part of our Future Leader Program, Real Estate Management Internship, Student Housing Internship, Highway West Internship, Redwood Internship, and FPA Corporate Internship. We are happy to an amazing group of students join us from a multitude of universities with varying academic focuses. Take a look below to meet our Future Leaders, Real Estate Management, Redwood Construction, and FPA interns. Please help us in making each intern's experience valuable by not only saying hello if you see them onsite, but also by taking the time to tell them about your journey in property management and sharing your knowledge and experiences with them.

EMMA HANDLOS Property : Twelve501 - Burnsville, MN School, Major, Grad Date : University of Wisconsin Stout, Real Estate Property Management, May 2022 Graduate Personal Goal During The Internship: I am really looking forward to growing as an individual in this field. A goal I have is to better understand some for the Assistant Property Management roles. Fun Fact: I have pet mini donkeys!

JOSE OLVERA Property : Arrive University City- Philadelphia, PA School, Major, Grad Date : University of Houston's Bauer Business School, Marketing, May 2022 Graduate Personal Goal During The Internship : I look forward to meeting the team and being able to collaborate and help each other out when needed. A goal of mine would be to lease as many units as I can before the end of the internship. Fun Fact: I love music, going to concerts and music festivals with friends.

BRI SILVA Property : Arrive River Oaks- Houston, TX School, Major, Grad Date : University of Illinois at Chicago, Marketing with minor in Entrepreneurship, May 2022 Graduate Personal Goal During The Internship : I'm looking forward to experiencing living by myself in a new city and meeting new people. My personal goal during the internship is to seize this opportunity to the fullest by learning more about the real estate industry in Texas, improving on my sales/touring skills, and making new friendships. Fun Fact: I am the only girl among 3 brothers.

KIARAH WARD Property : Arrive Mission Valley- San Diego, CA School, Major, Grad Date : Georgia Southern University, Finance, May 2022 Graduate Personal Goal During The Internship : I am looking forward to getting a deeper experience in property management in a city that is unfamiliar to me. I think it is good to go to new places because being out of your comfort zone helps you grow. I am excited to get the chance to further my education in property management and my personal goal this year is to truly be an asset to the team. Fun Fact: I was president of my sorority!

Property : Arrive River Oaks- Houston, TX School, Major, Grad Date : The University of Mississippi, Business Administration Real Estate, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : I'm looking forward to being able to spend time with each department, especially maintenance because I have never been considered handy. My personal goal is to learn as much as I can about Property Management and enjoy the summer in Houston. Fun Fact: I write and record rap music.

Property : Arrive Upper Kirby- Houston, TX School, Major, Grad Date : University of Houston, Exercise Science Health Profession, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : I'm looking forward to all the networking opportunities and connections to be made from this internship, and traveling at the end of it to the conference. My goal is to develop my understanding of real estate and learn more about aquiring, running, and managing properties. Fun Fact: I was born and partially raised in Nigeria, I also enjoy playing basketball and consider myself multi-talented in the areas of cooking and other things as well.

BRAYDEN GRANTZ Property : Renew on Stout- Denver, CO School, Major, Grad Date : University of Colorado Boulder, Business Administration- Finance & Real Estate, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : I am most looking forward to learning and building meaningful relationships with the team throughout the summer. My personal goal for the internship is to grow personally and professionally. Specifically, being a sponge and honing real-life skills to use in the future. Fun Fact: I have an NBA player's phone number who is also a family friend.

ACQUE WARNER Property : Arrive Santa Clarita- Santa Clarita, CA School, Major, Grad Date : Florida A&M University, Business Administration, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal during the internship is to challenge myself in every faucet of this program to find my niche in the field as well as in the company. Fun Fact: I love to produce instrumentals. I also do not produce in a traditional way, like on a laptop for instance. I create on my phone and can do it anywhere, any time. It’s therapeutic and I get lots of inspiration from being in a new environment with a different culture from my own.

BLAISE DEGOLIAN Property : Renew Midtown- Atlanta, GA School, Major, Grad Date : University of Georgia Athens, Real Estate, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : Decide whether I would like to pursue a career in property management. I am looking forward to making connections within the company that will help me excel in my career. I am also excited to experience the day-to-day routine of different roles within property management because I believe it will help me gain a better understanding of the importance of each position. Fun Fact: I am an only child, but my mom is the youngest of 7 children and my dad is the youngest of 14 children, so combined, I have 50 first cousins!

JANAE SCHNUR Property : Arrive Alexandria- Alexandria, VA School, Major, Grad Date : University of San Diego, Real Estate & Marketing, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal for this internship is to make meaningful connections with mentors and coworkers. I am looking forward to learning more about property management and the real estate industry in a hands-on way. Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is I love to surf but am terrible.

GRANT GEISSLER Property : Arrive at Eden Prairie- Eden Prairie, MN School, Major, Grad Date : University of Wisconsin- Stout, Real Estate Property Management, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal for this internship is to learn what makes Trinity successful and to develop a better understanding of what areas of property management I enjoy the most. I am looking forward to going out of my comfort zone, getting hands-on experience, and making professional connections. Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that I play disc golf competitively, mainly in local tournaments.

KAYLA SMITH

Property : Arrive Watertower- Eden Prairie, MN School, Major, Grad Date : Auburn University, Media Studies, December 2022 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal during this internship is to gain more insight into the world if property management and to branch out and experience new things being in a state far away from home. I believe this is a great time to sharpen my skills in leasing as well as get out of my comfort zone. Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that me and my mom share a birthday (Jan 15) and this birthday was the first one we didn't spend together (different plans).

GENEVIEVE JACOBSON

Property : Arrive Fort Lee- Fort Lee, NJ School, Major, Grad Date : Lehigh University, Business & Economics, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : I have three personal goals during the internship: to learn as much as possible about Trinity’s business and about the management of the Arrive Fort Lee property to which I am assigned; to provide excellent service to Arrive Fort Lee’s tenants and to become a valued member of the Arrive Fort Lee team; and to hopefully, develop a long-term employment opportunity. Fun Fact: I love to go bargain hunting for fashions at New York City sample sales.

JADE MYLES Property : Arrive Westborough- Westborough, MA School, Major, Grad Date : Mississippi State University, Business Administration, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal during this internship is to learn everything about real estate and managing a property. I am definitely looking forward to a change of scenery and adapting to an unfamiliar work environment. I am also looking forward to making connections with those in higher positions. Fun Fact: I played basketball in college for two years.

VERNON MOYE Property : Arrive 2801- Alexandria, VA School, Major, Grad Date : Johnson Smith University, Business Administration, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal for the internship is to learn more about real estate and how to manage a property and also be able market a property. I look forward to connecting and networking with great people who inspire to be great! Fun Fact: One fun fact about me is that I play Division 2 football for Johnson C. Smith University.

SAMER KATTIH Property : Arrive Wheaton- Wheaton, MD School, Major, Grad Date : Middle Tennessee State University, Management & Public Policy, May 2023 Personal Goal During The Internship : Real estate investments have been the best investment for thousands of years, so learning how to properly manage a piece of real estate as well as the tenants and staff is a vital part of being a successful investor. Second, a major threat to the health and comfort of many people around the world is a lack of affordable housing, so learning how to provide affordable housing and managing it in a profitable manner will be a side benefit for my personal philanthropic work. I am looking for an opportunity to gain knowledge in the field of property management and I am looking for a career at a good company, I think Trinity Properties can help me become an exceptional community manager after college. Fun Fact: I absolutely love bushcraft, which is what we call learning how to survive in nature with minimal resources.

LEILA NAUTALIE HEMMAT

Property : Arrive at Eden Prairie- Eden Prairie, MN School, Major, Grad Date : San Diego State University, Real Estate, December 2022 Personal Goal During The Internship : My personal goal during the internship is to experience first-hand what property management is like. I'd like to challenge myself in understanding and experiencing all aspects of the career, and I am confident that this internship will give me the space to do so. From there, I'd like to see if I would desire to pursue property management as my career in the future. I'd also like to make meaningful connections and network with my colleagues to learn as much as I can throughout the internship and carry those connections into the future! Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that I own a small business with my twin sister making custom tote bags, sweatshirts, and apparel. We enjoy bringing custom ideas to life, and we are encouraged by the challenges and victories we've experienced as business owners. It has been an incredible experience!

REDWOOD & FPA INTERNS Without further ado, we welcome:

CONNOR HOUTSTRA CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT INTERN Property : Arrive Streeterville- Chicago, IL School, Major, Grad Date : Ferris State University, Construction Management, May 2023 Looking Forward To During The Program: What I have been most excited about this summer has been the project I have been able to work on, Arrive Streeteville. The Riser Capital Project of this building has been a very exciting portion of my experience here meeting and working with the different contractors. The other item of my summer internship that I am most excited about is the trip to California to tour the Corporate offices, network with the other interns, and see how there summer experiences have been.

JACK DEARDORFF FPA INTERN Property : FPA Office- San Francisco, CA School, Major, Grad Date : University of Southern California, Business Administration, May 2024 Looking Forward To During The Program: This Summer, I am excited to learn as much as I can from the team at the San Francisco FPA office. The whole team does really great things, and I am excited to be a part of it for the next few months.
