Burn Awareness Week , observed the first full week in February , is a window of opportunity for organizations to mobilize burn , fire and life safety educators to unite in sharing a common burn awareness and prevention message in our communities . The Portraits for Heal ing program provides victims and survivors with a portrait of themselves or a loved one ki l led or injured as a result of drunk dr iving , drugged dr iving or underage dr inking .
