DESIGN BUILD RUN DESIGN, BUILD, RUN is a method we will use for our vision construction. It includes the phases we need to think through in order to implement a new operating model. It includes a template that has suggested tasks to consider as project resources plan their work.

Review (critical initiative) and confirm understanding of current state and other inputs

Capture as-is process and operating model

Plan design sessions to review project inputs, learn about best practices, design new operating model with strategy, process, people and systems

Identify internal and external experts, stakeholders and partners to engage

Identify admirable organizations and understand their relevant best practices, lessons learned and leverageable strategies , process and approaches

Complete design with future state operating model and process flow

Assess current state and identify what’s working well, what could be better, etc.

Share phase deliverables for review, update suggestions
