March is Women’s History Month — which means now is a great time to talk about the incredible impact of women, no matter what field or profession. We have successful female clients across many fields, so we asked them: Who is a woman leader that you’ve featured on your podcast who you would like to shout out? What did you learn from them? Here’s what they said. Andrea Heuston on 'Journey With Lei' On an episode of “Journey With Lei,” Andrea Heuston chatted with host Lei Wang about how to support and motivate employees and leaders. What makes Andrea an expert? She hosts her own podcast called “Lead Like a Woman Show,” where she features top women leaders who share inspirational stories on life and leadership. Andrea is an acclaimed entrepreneur herself as the founder and CEO of Artitudes Design, a full-service graphic design firm that delivers award- winning design solutions. She’s also the author of “Stronger on the Other Side: The Power to Choose.” Lei Wang is particularly inspired by the way Andrea educates others on the benefits of leaders who lift each other up. Caroline McCaffery on 'She Said Privacy/He Said Security' Jodi Daniels, co-host of “She Said Privacy/He Said Security,” was excited to feature Caroline McCaffery, the co-founder and CEO of the privacy tech company ClearOPS, on an episode of her show. Caroline has over 20 years of experience in law, privacy, and cybersecurity, and she’s also a founding member of Chief, where she serves as a speaker, advisor, and writer on many issues that affect tech startups. Jodi Daniels was motivated by Caroline’s career journey, from working in-house to building her own successful business. One of her main takeaways: “Pivoting is essential to be successful in business.” Jennifer Johnson on 'Spill the Ink' Michelle King wanted to shout out Jennifer Johnson’s memorable interview on her law firm growth podcast, “Spill the Ink.” Jennifer is the founder and CEO of Calibrate Legal, a recruiting and consulting firm for the legal industry. She’s been in multiple leadership roles that have led to her being 5 Lessons FromAcclaimedWomen Leaders Podcast Episodes Worth a Listen!

named a Global Top 100 Leader in Legal Strategy and Consulting by Lawdragon. Michelle King invited Jennifer to speak about revenue enablers and how to find them for your law firm. As she says, one of the most educational moments was when Jennifer stressed “the importance of an ‘always be helping’ approach to networking.” Ciara Dilley on the 'Gooder Podcast' Diana Fryc, host of the "Gooder Podcast,” interviewed Ciara Dilley, a vice president for Frito-Lay North America, for an episode about changing the world of business for the better. It’s a little-known fact that Frito-Lay has been quietly “growing a passionate army of stewards” to tackle some of the most concerning business issues, including healthy food innovation, small and women-owned business finance and mentoring, environmental stewardship, and much more. On the most insightful lessons Ciara shared, Diana Fryc says: “I learned you don’t have to be earnest to change the world for the better — you can have fun!” Additionally, “the big problems are not complicated, but solving them is. It requires patience, inquisitive advocacy, compassion, and celebrating the small wins to enroll others in a better future.” Katie Larkin-Wong on 'The Lawyer’s Edge' On a recent episode of “The Lawyer’s Edge,” Katie Larkin-Wong joined host Elise Holtzman to share some powerful lessons about leadership for women in the legal profession. In addition to her role as an associate general counsel for Meta — the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Reality Labs — Katie is also a passionate advocate for the advancement of women in law. Elise Holtzman gained some incredible wisdom from her interview with Katie, including this key takeaway: “Leaders can drive powerful results when they consciously and deeply listen to the people who are supposed to be served by diversity initiatives, don't assume they know everything about what is needed, and take action based on what they learn.” Ladies, thank you so much for sharing these motivational stories with us! To celebrate women leaders this month and beyond, we encourage you to check out these female-led podcasts and their inspirational guests. Happy International Women’s Day (and Women’s History Month)!

HOW IS PANERA BREAD SO GOOD AT BRANDING? Its Pandemic Strategy and 2021 Upgrade

From the industry-wide hiring scarcity to supply chain breakdown, running a restaurant while dealing with COVID-19 hasn’t been easy. However, despite the odds stacked against it, Panera Bread has been a category leader during the pandemic. Here’s how its decision-making expertise has made a difference. Quick Delivery and Even Quicker Strategies Panera’s fast, fresh food isn't the only thing great about it — its leadership team also thinks and acts fast. A couple of weeks after the pandemic broke out, the corporation had already decided on their future course of action.

more character” into both physical restaurants and digital experiences. “We are offering the best of both worlds with convenience via off-premises and digital channels while doubling down on dine-in," says Eduardo Luz, chief brand and concept officer. Dubbed the Next-Gen Café, bakery ovens will be moved to the front, allowing customers to get a full view and even chat with Panera’s bakers. This way patrons can see and smell the trademark bread just as it comes out of the oven.

Of course, not all customers order inside the store nowadays — during the pandemic, over 85% of sales were made

First, leadership knew they should take care of the employees. Panera offered its teams nationwide multiple perks, including two weeks of paid sick leave, free family meals once a week, a relief fund for emergencies, and a hiring partnership with CVS and Walmart for over 35,000 furloughed Panera workers. Staff were also given access to Oprah Winfrey’s virtual wellness program to encourage mental and physical wellness.

off-premises. That also brought a lot of new customers to the brand. To serve them as effectively as possible, the cafe adds a double drive-thru lane, with one lane just for picking up digital orders. “As states begin to open up, we are seeing those new customers stick with us via off-premises while existing Panera guests return to dine-in,” Luz says. “The Next-Gen Café redesign allows us to meet the needs of all our guests with a warm dine-in environment, an enhanced digital experience, and more drive-thru access for an increasingly off- premises world.”

Second, Panera began to try new things other chains had not. Most

companies wouldn’t dare attempt a brand extension during COVID-19, but Panera launched Panera Grocery in April 2020 so people ordering delivery could also order basic

The Next-Gen Café drive-thru menu is fully digitized and identifies MyPanera members, recalls past orders and birthdays, and makes different offers based on the order history. By combining the loyalty program with personalization, they’re intending to make the experience “uniquely Panera.” The very first Next-Gen Café is opening this year in Ballwin, Missouri, and going forward, all new restaurants and remodels will follow the same design. Overall, Panera’s ability to brand itself ahead of the curve has been constantly impressive, and it’s certainly taught everyone to look forward to what Panera will do next.

necessities like fresh milk, bread, pasta, and more. During a time when grocery stores were constantly sold out, the service helped many people. Last but certainly not least, Panera also launched its now- famous $8.99 coffee subscription in February 2020. Despite coffee sales accounting for only 3% of Panera’s total revenue up until that point, affordable coffee is enough to bring in more customers all day long — even during the pandemic. Upgrading in Style Panera’s leadership team has recently announced that they are redesigning restaurants by injecting “a little
