Thank you for Shining a Light for Justice At Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO), we believe that the law is for everyone, not just for those who can afford an attorney. In celebration of ILAO’s 20 th anniversary benefit, Shining a Light for Justice, we are honored and humbled that you, our supporters, make it possible for ILAO to uphold the conviction that someone’s race, gender, income, religion, or education should not be a barrier to justice. This book is more than its pages. It is a testament to a movement that began 20 years ago and will reach far into the future. It is a partnership of individuals, law firms, and corporations who are passionate about equality and access to justice. It is the recognition that we each play a role in making justice attainable for all.
