Once crowned with a heavily beamed, 20-foot vaulted ceiling, the living room now boosts a 12-foot high flat ceiling accented with streamlined beams that delineate the space from the adjoining dining and kitchen areas. A Visual Comforts chandelier, custom Lee upholstery pieces and built-ins crafted by Bradshaw Design foster the room’s cozy, inviting style.

Fine Dining & Elegant Entertaining

A studded grasscloth dresses the dining area’s deep tray ceiling, while large planes of walnut back the built-in cabinets and shelves as well as a grid of framed moon prints. Patter frolics on the linen-covered backs of leather chairs as well as underfoot on a hide rug by Calvin Klein.

Relaxation, Rest, Rejuvenation

The custom-designed post bed was built by Bradshaw Design specifically for this bedroom. The Holly Hunt upholstered headboard is joined by a Visual Concept lantern that illuminates the room without competing with the beds design. The deep navy eel-skin wall covering by Elitis adds rich texture and vivid color to the master bedroom.

Not just kidding around

In the kids bunk room (left), full size bunks are individually equipped with lights, electrical outlets and storage beneath the bunks. An “adult” bunk room (above) features two full beds up top with a king-sized bed with dressers below. A matching walnut accent wall houses media entertainment for those who choose to relax in privacy and comfort.

Creating a Vibe

Designed as a casual spot for the homeowner to hang out with his family or guests, the media room (right) features Coal and Son Aspen Tree wallpaper, oversized woodcut prints and a blue leather sectional that fold out into a bed. The ottomans’ faux bois fabric and a metallic tree-stump accent table add to the room’s woodsy, mountain vibe. While the powder room’s (below) wow-factor sets the precedent for the whole home.
