Partners in Change Consulting 2002 Sustainability Report
From the start we wanted PiC to be low-cost, passing on the benefits of this to our clients. We founded PiC with sustainability front of mind
We have no Head Office, our permanent employees are home-based and our consulting teamof mainly associates, operate fromclient sites.
We’re using expert assessment
Our back-office capability is small and efficient, and our overheads are very low.
In 2020 we were assessed for the first time by Ecovadis.
As well as recognising what we had in place the assessment provided a clear set of improvements that we should consider. These are incorporated into our plans for 2022 and beyond.
We are committed to a four-point strategy that challenges and informs our thinking and frames our improvement initiatives. We will: Sustainability is a journey we’ve started, with more to do § Be regularly assessed to mark progress and shape our improvement journey § Achieve carbon neutrality in 2022 § Work with our suppliers, associates and clients to communicate our sustainability credentials and plans, and to encourage similar activities wherever possible and § Continue to work with organisations such as Emmaus, to make a sustainable difference to people in our community. We are a young company (2018) and we are not yet where we want to be, but we’re making great progress, prioritising those areas of most importance, and already delivering good results.

We’re focused on four key aspects of our business We have produced this report for the first time in 2022. It sets out our strategy, challenges, initiatives, and results (actual and planned) in each of the four areas of sustainability. We are a young company (set up at the end of 2018) and we are not yet where we will be, but we’re making great progress, prioritising those areas of most importance, and already delivering good results.

2022 Sustainability Report
BACKGROUND We have no permanent office, generate little waste and our teamworks either fromhome or fromclient premises. During the pandemic in 2021 we have seen a low carbon footprint because of the reduction in travel.
STRATEGY We will reduce emissions where we can and responsibly offset where we cannot. We will strongly advocate that our partners, suppliers and clients adopt appropriate strategies for themselves and support them in executing them.
CHALLENGES In 2021 we demonstrated that much of our work can be done remotely, and as our clients now return to the workplace we will be expected to do likewise. Our challenge is in showing clients that this is not always the best option.
KG CO2 EMISSIONS IN 2021
PLANS FOR 2022 § We will measure our permanent teameach quarter and offset the carbon emissions § We will measure the carbon footprint of every client engagement, offset the carbon emissions and publicise this within the client organisation § We will provide leadership across our wider network (The PiC Community) explaining what we are doing and engaging with them to help us do better § We will communicate our environmental progress with the teamon a regular basis § We will invest in a carbon offset company that fits with our values and is making a relevant impact § We will learn howwe can do better by listening to our employees, partners and clients
