Optiswiss developed its Swiss Fusion Technology to account for the changing needs for today’s lenses. It re-designed the various viewing areas [distance, intermediate, near, peripheral] based on changed lifestyles, resulting in different requirements for lenses.

In addition to its proven Swiss HD Technology with 40.000 reference points on the lens surface, Swiss Fusion Technology 8 connecting point. An astonishing 320.000 connections are now used for calculating the optimum lens design. Furthermore unwanted astigmatism in the peripheral areas of the lens are now aligned with the axis orientation of the RX [High Precision Cylinder Orientation]. Swiss Fusion Technology brings together algorithms uses by Swiss Connect Technology and High Precision Cylinder Orientation in a most coherent way.
