Temple of the Vedic Planetarium Calendar - 2021 The 125 th Appearance Anniversary Year of Srila Prabhupada PRABHUPADA IS COMING TO THE TOVP! 2021 is the 125th Appearance Anniversary Year of ISKCON Founder/Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. To commemorate and honor this auspicious year the TOVP has organized a number of important events. First and foremost is the installation of a new, one-of-a-kind, ‘worship-pose’ murti of Srila Prabhupada in the TOVP re-scheduled now for some time in October, 2021. Srila Prabhupada’s presence and watchful eye will ensure that we can achieve our goal to open the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium in 2023 and relocate Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Sri Pancha Tattva and Sri Nrsimhadeva into Their long-awaited new home. PRABHUPADA IS COMING! Second, we will be offering Srila Prabhupada a magnificent and ornate Book of Devotion during his murti installation ceremony showing him the names of donors who have completed their pledges up to the end of 2020. This book will be 15” (38cm) x 20.5” (52cm) in size, 55 lbs./ 25 kg in weight, 500 gold-leafed pages thick, and will have a silver/gold bas-relief on the cover. It will be permanently displayed in the TOVP for generations of Vaishnavas to view. This calendar is a gift to all our sponsors worldwide. With your steadfast and continued devotion and help we have accomplished so much. And we pray that 2021 brings us all a step closer to our common goal. May you have a blessed and Krishna conscious year ahead.

Once again, another year has passed as we inch ever closer to the Grand Opening of the TOVP. This next year is very important because it commemorates the 125 th Appearance Anniversary Year of Srila Prabhupada to whom we have dedicated our lives, energy, finances and souls to complete this historic project. To celebrate appropriately we are planning to install the new Prabhupada murti in the TOVP in October, 2021, barring any obstacles from the pandemic and India lock-down, and offer His Divine Grace a unique and magnificent Book of Devotion which will include only the names of donors for his recognition of your service. Thank you again for your support and I hope this 2021 calendar inspires you further in your dedication to this most important project. “Now, here in India we are planning construction of a very large “Vedic Planetarium” or “Temple of Understanding”. Within the planetarium we will construct a huge, detailed model of the universe as described in the text of the fifth canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam. Within the planetarium the model will be studied by onlookers from different levels by use of escalators. Detailed information will be given on open verandas at the different levels by means of dioramas, charts, films, etc.”
