Meghan Meghan has worked in several nursing fields since getting her BSN-RN from Regis University. These include inpatient psychiatric care, surgical trauma and neonatal ICU. Her heart to care for people is what drives her daily. She recognizes the need in her community to have a practice that treats health from the inside and out. She strongly believes in an overall health approach and addressing goals from every angle. Meghan was born in Colorado Springs and has made it her home along with her husband and three children. She loves getting to know new people and spending time with family. For Meghan, Revive is more than a Medical Spa, it is her passion to help clients look and feel their best.

How to layer skincare products for the clearest skin ever It’s not just what you use, but how — and when — you use it. Skincare used to be as simple as a single jar of cold cream. These days, more is definitely more. However, when you have somewhere between five and 75 products lined up on your bathroom counter, figuring out which order to apply them can be more than just a little bit challenging.

And here’s the thing: the order in which you use skincare products does matter and can directly affect how well they work. But don’t stress: Here’s a (super) simple step-by- step guide.

Cleanser + toner Cleanser: You can skip this step in the morning if your skin type is dry (or wash with water only), but it’s a non-negotiable in the evening when you need to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Toner: Next comes toner, if you’re using it. While many toners act like a secondary cleanser, some are designed to exfoliate with acids, while others leave behind a layer of moisture. (Consider the moisturizing kind an essence —see below.) Treatments Apply any targeted, medicated or prescription products, which should always go directly onto clean skin. Make sure they fully dry before moving on. Essence The lightest product you’re using comes next. An essence generally has a watery texture and can be patted onto the skin. Serums These tend to be a little thicker or gel-like, but not as heavy as a moisturizer. Serums also have high levels of active ingredients.

Moisturizer Creams or lotions get layered on top and can be the final step unless you choose to use...

Facial Oil A few drops of oil will help keep the water in your moisturizer from evaporating.

Sleeping mask A sleeping mask is designed to be applied a little heavier than a night cream, and can generally replace a night cream and face oil combination.

Sunscreen SPF should always be the final step in your daytime routine, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

When in doubt, remember this overarching rule: Products should always be layered from lightest to heaviest. Think about it in terms of how you’d layer clothing. You wouldn’t put on a thick sweater and then a thin T-shirt over it, would you? Similarly, you wouldn’t put on a thick moisturizer and then a lightweight serum. Starting with your lightest products ensures they can actually penetrate into the skin and do their intended duties.

On December 3rd Myles McClarity was diagnosed with Acute T-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He and his family live in Fountain, Colorado. His parents are Nate and Faith Getty, and they have rightfully been by their son's side since day one and will continue being by his side every step of the way. They have accrued minimal leave time from their jobs, thus creating a loss of income for their household during this journey. They will be traveling between home (Fountain) and Denver Children’s Hospital incurring extra expenses they do not normally encounter as they help their son through this battle with Leukemia. Any monetary contributions will be used for food, income replacement, and medical expenses, etc. Anyone who knows the Getty family can live to tell how giving and selfless they have been to so many. Local business helps Fountain-Fort Carson football player battling leukemia

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- During the entire month of April one Colorado Springs business is helping a Fountain-Fort Carson high schooler battling blood cancer. Every quarter, 719 Revive Med Spa gives back to the community. This quarter, the locally owned business decided to help Myles McClarity and his family.

McClarity is a junior on the Trojans football team. As the season came to an end, Myles says everything changed.

"As soon as the playoffs started, we played Golden, and after that game, I was extremely tired. Had really bad bruising that I usually wouldn’t get," said McClarity. The following week, his symptoms got worse. "Immediately after the game we got back to the hotel, and I was just extremely sick like couldn’t even move. The next day couldn’t eat and then three weeks went past, headaches, nose bleeds, and then we went to the ER," said McClarity. At an ER visit, McClarity and his parents were told it looked like leukemia. "You never think that that’s something that you will hear and you know it happens because you see it happen to other people, but you never imagine that it will be you. It was definitely a brick wall that we smacked into," said Faith Getty, Myles' mom. For the last three months, McClarity has been undergoing rounds of chemo at Children's Colorado. "It’s just like getting sick off and on. It’s really been a struggle," said McClarity. "I told him the other day that he was my hero and he’s like 'what why am I your hero?' If I were going through that I don’t see myself as strong as he’s being right now," said Getty. As Myles continues his battle off the field- it doesn't look like he'll be back on it come fall. "Until the time comes I’m going to be like an assistant coach, be there for my teammates like give them the information I've learned over the past two years help them be better than I was hoping," said McClarity. "It’s true yea football isn’t everything, but for a teenage boy who has groomed himself for this for so long, loses it to know that he has his team backing him just makes a world of difference," said Getty. Myles should know if he's in remission by the end of the month or the beginning of May when he has another bone marrow biopsy.
